I don’t see that anybody won, either.
I also don’t see who started the whole argument in the first place. True, the guy who got bloodied appears to have made the first physical move (wrong and big, big mistake), but we don’t see how the mouthing all started.
Honestly, I suspect it was most likely started by the younger black guy. And the reason I suspect that is that it looks it was filmed by someone friendly to the guy who got beaten, and it looks like the beginning has most likely been clipped off to hide how it began.
But there’s really no proof there of exactly how it actually began.
See? You get it, it's not that difficult.
Then there’s this from 1994:
Title: S F SHOPPING CENTRE ASSOC L P VS BRUSO
Cause of Action: CIVIL HARASSMENT
Same guy.
So he’s harrassing people at a shopping mall in 1994,
giving a shop owner the finger and ranting about a football team in 1996 in a manner noteworthy enough for the guy to actually record it on the web, apparently;
He’s tasered at a baseball game for being drunk and disorderly about ten years after that
and now he beats the crap out of a black guy who is obviously not “young”, in fact he apparently claims to be 50 years old (I’d put him at about 30 - 35) after the white guy tells him to spit shine the white guy’s shoes.
All I said was that he’s not a guy you want to hitch your wagon to as an example of a “responsible citizen”. And he ain’t. He’s mentally ill.
It’s good to see that we don’t get personal here./sarc
I am self employed and call on companies in Southern California, including several in locales such as Compton and parts of South Central Los Angeles. Unlike, the older guy on the bus, I do not go looking for trouble. I defend myself when need be.
I still like him and so would you if were on board that bus
All I’ve seen in my years is that violence begets more violence.
Who said anything about wagon hitching pal?
The man was attacked first....Did you miss that??
Go "Epic Beard Guy"!!
that all sounds good...but in reality, it does not work...
I have dealt with these kinds of people more often than I would ever want to admit. That kid will think twice before hitting someone again. But if ya just let punks like him think he has won by walking away, he will just keep getting braver and braver each time.
Also, notice that both the young punk and the old man withdrew at one point. The kid realized he was ticked off, admitted it, and withdrew. The old man left and sat elsewhere. It was when the old man withdrew that the youngin started to feel empowered and then became aggressive enough to get up and walk toward the old man. Eventually he decided that he had achieved alpha status to the level that he felt secure enough, and powerful enough to resort to violence. He is exactly the type of thug that feeds his violent tendencies by interacting with people he expects to withdrawal. He would have never pulled that stunt on a 67 yr old man sitting amidst 20 of his biker buddies.
I wish the world was as easy as just turning from violence in order to prevent it.
Speaking of T shirt... (profanity warning) here’s the lesson that thug guy missed.
Very curious to your responses and suggestions for everyone present on the bus.
YOU did.
duh
And you can thank all those soldiers that you are not speaking German or Japanese...
The WORLD won -
You make a good point, EC. I don’t know what the answer is. I would simply like for people to ‘back off’ when emotions heat up. I understand my idealism but think if it were practiced, then maybe more often than not would people turn to violence.
Another graduate of the Tokyo Rose school of propaganda and misinformation?
OMGROTFLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!
Even if a dude says he’s 67, if he’s talking about fighting, he’s 6” taller and 50# heavier, and his t-shirt says, “I am the mother fer!”,
Maybe just let him go. Maybe he lives for this kind of stuff, and loves it, and can’t wait to kick ass.
Classic!
The old guy could have gotten off, the black guy had gone back to his seaat. The old guy kept it going.
