I can’t respect a grown man who walks in public wearing a t-shirt that says in big block letters “I am the mother f**ker” at kids’ eye level.
Epic beard guy walked to the front of the bus, but kept running his mouth with taunts. He didn’t just get off the bus when he could have. He wanted to bait the black guy into the first punch, and he succeeded. He’s still a creep in my book, first evidence being the t-shirt with MFer worn at the level of children’s eyes.
I cannot speak for anyone on the bus. Were I the older guy I would have kept to myself. At the beginning of the video the younger man was not threatening anyone. Were I the older guy, I would have kept my mouth shut after relocating to the front of the bus, especially given the environs. I would have made an assumption that the younger guy may have been carrying a weapon.

Well, he’s a little touched, so perhaps respect not for his overall conduct but for doing what needed doing in this instance. It’s just too bad more people aren’t big and tough-minded like this (or are simply afraid that if they react with lethal violence, if provoked, they will face law suits and criminal prosecution to do what needs doing to push back against encroaching chaos.)

In answer to your question; no.
Please read my previous posts. My whole point is in not allowing such situations to escalate to the point of violence.
In a way Travis, I kind of feel sorry for the black guy. He seemed a little “touched” himself and was egged on by the girls in the back. I also noticed that once the first punch was thrown he went down and curled up. No one can say I don’t have some compassion.
I respectfully ask what you would do or have done if you were a victim of violence? What would you do if a loved one is attacked?
You don't swing at someone because they “disrespected” you unless you are a gang banger or a punk. If you throw the first punch, you get what's coming to you.

That older man most likely lives it everyday. He knows full well how to deal with the situation. The sad part is that the others on the bus, including the driver, are so desensitized to what they probably see every day, that only one person (an older female) tried to intervene. I guarantee that more than a few of them were smiling about this beatdown once away from the commotion.
This thug probably felt his physical appearance would intimidate people. Epic Beard Guy knocked the polish off this turd.
I’m from Chicago and if you’ve had any day-to-day experience in these areas, you’d applaud someone standing up to this thug. Trust me, your kumbiya approach doesn’t go far in the hood. I’ve never looked for trouble. But I was raised to do my best to put down anyone who brings it to me.

What you don’t get is that plenty of whites and Asians have been subjected to black craziness and crime on mass transit... So why not the reverse? Just for the hell of it? And epic beard guy is a for_the_hell_of_it kind of guy
