One South Park half-hour episode gave the best “Cliffs Notes” explanation of Scientology. And it was all true.

I beg to differ.
As a good conservative, I have faithfully paid my taxes...which have in turn, been hijacked and given to the United Nations (turns head and spits) and all manner of other do-good crooks, er, uh, rescuers, yeah, that's it, rescuers, who, whilst providing some relief, are damned guilty of lining their own individual pockets first.
Of course, my efforts are eclipsed by that great humanitarian, Barack Hussein Obama, His Great Self, who has ordered up the printing by the US Mint of bazillions of more dollars to air drop to the people of Haiti.
Meanwhile, I am also performing a lot of public service on my own.
For instance, I am sitting here as we speak, so to speak, and agonizing over the decisions our Great President must make in regards to this tragedy.

You do know that there are some folks that give quietly, without fanfare, and do so with a definite desire not to be recognized or publicized for their actions, simply because they do it from their heart and not from their "future investment portfolio"?

Just because they don’t put it up for Kudos doesn’t mean they haven’t given a thing. And if they haven’t, so what? It’s a free country and maybe helping Haiti isn’t their cup of tea.
