Just 29 percent of U.S. voters now say the country is heading in the right direction, the lowest level measured since early February, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.
The percentage of voters who felt the country is heading in the right direction remained in the narrow range of 31 percent to 35 percent from July to early November. For the previous three weeks, however, confidence in the country’s current course has held steady at 30 percent.
The majority of voters (65 percent) continue to believe the nation is heading down the wrong track. The latest finding is up slightly from last week and has remained fairly consistent for months. In the weeks just prior to Barack Obama's election, more than 80 percent of voters felt that way.

I remember yelling at the TV screen during the debates, when Obama said he wasn't going to raise taxes on the middle class... and McCain let him get away with saying that.
Democrats ALWAYS raise taxes on EVERYBODY and if we didn't have a bunch of MILQUETOASTS running the GOP, everybody would have already known that a long, long time ago.
Wow, that high? Huh.
And just wait till a few of Obama freeloaders get to a doctor and find out nothing is gonna start giving for 4 years. Some heads will explode. Now, where is my rent, and a car?
Tenured liberal arts professors, journalism majors, illegal aliens, and 90% of blacks think we are heading in the right direction.

The 29% that are in favor are obviously supporters of communism in this country.
They are most likely on some sort of government subsistence and should not be allowed to vote in any election until they are completely self supporting.
I wonder how many of the 29% were residents of mental facilities.
I’ve heard the democrats have criticized Rasmussen polls as “not looking like America” because they refuse to poll those who reside in cemeteries.
Where did they find the 29%? This is spooky. We have nearly a third of those surveyed that are living in an alternate universe. I did not realize that we had that many Muslims living in Amerikstan.
That represents the welfare, teacher and union class of citizen.

I kid you not, I heard on the radio news (either CNN or ABC) the announcer refer to them as “Right wing pollster Rasmussen”.
