The Left for all the postwar decades has managed to define politics as "right and left" with fascism on the right and pol pot on the left. That is clearly incorrect. Fascism is a form of socialism where production is controlled but privately owned and communism is a form of socialism where production is owned and controlled by the party. The opposite of Communism is actually Anarchy. Since Anarchy has never been practiced as a form of government there is no "Hitler" to label it with.
