To Obama and his cronies-what orders US military will not obey

U. S. Military, Veterans, and Peace Officers

Our oath is to the Constitution of the United States of America.

It is NOT to the President..., and that oath will be kept,......

Oath Keepers is a non partisan association of currently serving military, veterans, and peace officers who will fulfill our oath to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God.

Our oath is to the Constitution, not to the President, not to Congress, and not to any political party. In the long-standing tradition of the U.S. military, we are apolitical. We don’t care if unlawful orders come from a Democrat or a Republican, or if the violation is bi-partisan. We will not obey unconstitutional (and thus unlawful) and immoral orders, such as orders to disarm the American people or to place them under martial law.. We won’t “just follow orders." Our motto: “Not on Our Watch!”

There is at this time a debate within the ranks of the military regarding their oath. Some mistakenly believe they must follow any order the President issues. But many others do understand that their loyalty is to the Constitution and to the people, and understand what that means.

The mission of Oath Keepers is to vastly increase their numbers. [This confliction MUST NOT be allowed to continue within our military...]

An oath is forever. Once you raise your hand, and take the oath to, "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States...," your responsibility to do so doesn't end until you are dead.

“To those comparing today’s military to the Vietnam era service members”

The Vietnam military was (almost) all male and it was only 25% draftee (the army was 22% draftee in 1970).

“US Army, unfortunately. During the Vietnam war. Seemed to be a pretty common attitude among NCOs and officers. Blind obedience was in. But I never heard it put so bluntly until that day.”

Bullshit, you have a personal anecdote and that is fine but that was not a common attitude.

Well, that can't be anything but BS based on your own personal anecdotes. Mine is not BS and is more than an anecdote. It was well-known and widespread.

Don't tell me you never had the blind-obedience discussion with anyone when you served, multiple times. There's a reason for that.

I don't even know what you are talking about, I never heard of the blind obedience thing, all I ever heard were instructions on not obeying unlawful orders no matter who they came from. We were taught to obey lawful orders of course, but at the same time we were taught that we had to understand that an unlawful order can be given also and that we must know the difference.

Please tell us your MOS and the units served. The officer told you about Times square where? In formation, a class, the orderly room, in the field, firing range?

“get a spear gun too.”

Haha, I have failed the past several years to hit anything with my speargun...I did pull the trigger on a trigger and the spear bounced off his side.

I gotta say it’ll be the exact opposite. The Guard will be FAR less likely to obey any such nonsense orders from Obama. The active duty will have far more compliance. Sad but true.

It’s easy. Grouper just sit in the hole and let you shoot them. It’s very sad. Many Grouper are alive today because they swam out of that hole, looked at me with those big eyes, and wagged their tale like a little puppy. Hogfish are easy to spear and delicious. They actually turn on their side to give you a better shot.

Blackwater(brownshirts)

Blackwater was there too. Many think they are like Hitler’s brownshirts.

We take an oath to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic.

Regular, Reserve or Guard take the same oath in good faith, without reservation...

The oath has been changed in the past, Sarge, and it's going to take some Brass Balls to keep it from change in the coming years.

This wouldn't have come up if we didn't have a CIC with suspect eligibility.

Glad to see this is coming out.

Dunno about the NY National Guard, though.

“If I want to pass an IG inspection, I’d go with an active duty unit. If I want to pass combat, I’d go with a National Guard unit.”

I myself have been on both sides of the active/NG fence, and the only unit I’d ever want to go to war with is 2nd ACR.
