We now live in an Ineptocracy: A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

I am the eyes and ears of the battlefield, my radio is my most valuable weapon, I can maneuver undetected for hours, days, weeks at a time, I stalk the enemy when they think no one is watching, I am the forefront of death, brought up from the Green where no other man is welcome besides my own, I am the tip of the spear, the first in, the last out, I know every inch of every weapon and piece of equipment that I am provided, I can adapt and overcome any situation I am put in, because I am tough, smart, and fear nothing but fear itself, which I am, I can choose to make my presence known or I can be the dark shadow thats stalks you in the night, I show no mercy for my enemies, I show no remorse for my actions, I am fowl, dirty, rough, mean, heartless, and most will wish they had never crossed my path, my body shows no pain or weakness, my eyes hold the souls inside the hell within me of every man who has stood in my way, I am a force that does not exist, yet my enemies know of my destruction, I stand before God who will not accept me, and before the Devil who will not claim me, for I am too harsh and twisted for either, I am a part of a tradition thousands of years old, it holds more value to my fellow comrades and I then life itself, I wear spurs and a black hat that signify my heritage and show I am superior to everyone on the battlefield, I am a recon specialist, and one of the most feared warriors of all time, I let no one dictate my path, my actions, my thoughts, or my life, I have the upmost respect for my country and its colors, I am the fabric that holds Ol' Glory together, I am a disciple of Uncle Sam, sent from the deepest, darkest, parts of this universe to commit acts of violence so that others may prosper after me, I pay my respects to the ones who have gone before me, and pave the path for the ones to come after, I set the example and lead from the front, I strike with the most fierce blows you have seen, I leave ruins of civilizations in my rearview, perfection is the only answer, victory is the only circumstance, the fight is all we know, and death is certain for all. A few weeks ago in the Montgomery Advertiser, they ran an op-ed by some libtard named Steven Cobble calling Republicans and "blue dog" democrats hypocritical on defense. The following is my reply:

This is in reply to the Op-Ed article by Steve Cobble "GOP, Blue Dogs hypocritical on defense" featured in Voices on Thursday, May 21, 2009.

First to put Mr. Cobble's views in perspective, the Institute for Policy Studies is a far left organization that is in bed with the likes of the utterly outrageous and un-American group known as Code Pink. Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans also happens to sit on the IPS board of trustees.

Mr. Cobble claims that money spent on defense could be better used to "Pay for healthcare for everyone, keep people ripped off by sub-prime loans in their homes, and put Americans to work 'greening' our economy". Mr. Cobble apparently has never read the Constitution, because if he had he would know that defense spending is mandated under Article 1, Section 8 and he would have known that nowhere in the Constitution does it say that congress is mandated to provide healthcare for everyone or to provide bailouts to people who live above their means. Funny how people like Mr. Cobble say that we need to cut defense to provide for social programs. Well I'm sorry but these social programs are unconstitutional and are of no business of the federal government. Granted the Constitution says that congress shall also provide for the "general welfare", but general welfare is ensuring the safety of the citizenry, not enslaving them to a life long dependence of government handouts.

He rails about the cost of the F-22. Yeah the F-22 costs a lot of money, but it's like the difference in prices between a Ferrari and a Ford. A Ferrari costs $250,000 because only a few hundred are made every year, while a Ford costs $25,000 or less because several thousands are made in a single month. The fact is, the fewer planes we buy the more they cost. We need the F-22 to replace the rapidly aging F-15's as demonstrated by the in flight break-up and other recent crashes of the now 37+ year old design. Future threats such as China and a resurgent Russia are rapidly boosting their military capability while we're expected to neuter ours?

Defense spending has brought forth many innovations that people use today such as the Global Positioning System, thermal cameras, computers, and the internet. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) for example is working on a way to create new immunizations and other therapeutic drugs at a rate that's faster than what is now possible which will not only benefit Americans, but citizens in other countries as well. The Georgia Tech Research Institute was created during the cold war to conduct tests for the military, and now in addition to the military work they are testing items that will help disabled Americans live their lives to the fullest. Yet the creed of the left remains that all defense funding is evil, because it's less money for "feel good" social programs.

As far as the sub-prime mortgage mess, one has to look no further than Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, and other Democrats who for years claimed that Freddie Mac, and Fanny Mae were fine all the while pushing them and other lenders to give loans to people who didn't have the income required to afford these loans. The typical liberal way of fixing the sub-prime mortgage market? Force those of us who live within our means to pay for those who can not.

These "green jobs" that Mr. Cobble talks about is a myth because in reality, environmentalist groups are against wind, solar, geo-thermal, hydro, nuclear and all other forms of energy production because of one silly fabricated reason or another. Also it would be 10 to 15 years before a single "green job" is created. Some of the technologies preferred by these "green jobs studies" such as the one conducted by the Center for American Progress are not capable of reaching the scale necessary to meet today’s demands and could ultimately reduce environmental quality. The Italian government has argued that green job policies will cost their economy 20 billion Euros each year for the next decade. The Italian economy is roughly one tenth of ours in terms of GDP. And in Denmark, they are losing 2.2 jobs for every one "green" job that is created. Would you the taxpayer be willing to lose an additional $200 billion dollars a year on top of the massive debt brought on by these "stimulus" bills and other irresponsible government spending?

The best ways to make healthcare affordable for everyone would start with tort reform to put a strict cap on frivolous lawsuits. The second way would be billing the governments of illegal aliens who have for years used our healthcare system on our dime. The third way to lower healthcare costs would be to go after those who have abused the Medicare/Medicaid system as well as ending the billions of dollars worth of overpayments such as Medicare paying eight times the cost for medications and supplies than other government agencies such as the Veterans Administration pays. A fourth way to lower healthcare costs is for people to stop using the emergency room for minor ailments and injuries that should be treated at a regular doctor's office or an outpatient facility such as PriMed.

The fact is healthcare in this country is affordable but it is not the responsibility of those of us who are responsible with our money to pay for the healthcare of those who would irresponsibly spend their money on the latest and flashiest cars, shoes, entertainment systems, or cell phones. The socialized healthcare touted by Mr. Cobble and other liberals does not work in countries with one tenth of our population and will not work here. People from Europe and Canada come here to have operations and treatments performed that they are not allowed to receive under their socialized healthcare systems due to age, health condition, or complexity of the procedure. Socialized healthcare is not free either since everyone will pay for it through higher taxes across all income levels.

In addition to the above four steps to making healthcare affordable, we need to eliminate every federal agency that is not enumerated in the Constitution and return those trillions of dollars wasted every year on unconstitutional agencies and failed social programs back to the taxpayers so that WE can choose whatever healthcare plan we want as opposed to having some government bureaucrat decide what is best for us. By cutting the federal government to fit within the constraints of the Constitution, everything will once again be affordable and it will create millions of real jobs by bringing industry back to our country.

It is time for "We The People", to rise up and take back our country from those who seek to flush it down the toilet. For too long we have allowed career politicians to ruin our country and erode our God given rights in the name of getting re-elected in order to pay back the special interest groups and the unions that support them. From Goat Hill to Capitol Hill every politician who has served more than two terms needs to be thrown out of office and banned for life from holding any other elected or appointed office in the public sector. "We The People" are the ones who tell the government what to do, the government doesn't tell us.
