Blue Print for the Coming GOP Revolution--New media must be a central pillar....

New media must be a central pillar in the victory strategy!

Yesterday I asked whether conservatives have finally come to their census and gotten over the initial daze of defeat from last November? With our party speaking in a united voice of principled opposition to the liberal coup represented by the stimulus bill, likely manipulation of the census and looming re-emergence of the fairness doctrine we know we must fight hard to survive and ultimately regain power as the American voter realizes what a sham Obama’s promises of hope and change really are (see Obama’s seven broken promises in the stimulus bill).

Our GOP leaders in Congress have shown they have the right message by opposing big government boondoggles while offering common sense alternatives. The question is: do we have the right blueprint to translate that program into electoral victory in 2010 and 2012?

In 2006 we lost the House and Senate and we sat by in 2008 and watched again as the largest well funded political juggernaut of the 21st century swept away decades of GOP grass roots development. Are we prepared now to meet that challenge or will we fall back on the business as usual strategies which may have worked 20 years ago but failed utterly in the last two elections?

I’d like to think we have learned our lesson and I am encouraged by new GOP Chairman Michael Steele’s efforts to invite new ideas for reaching voters and widening their participation; especially through the use of the same new media that Obama and friends used so effectively.

The Reagan revolution was fueled by new technology in direct mail fundraising.

Yeah, the Republicans will whisper in your ear, gather you all up, and deliver you to the enemy once again.

It’s like Lucy and Charlie Brown and the football.

She’ll definitely let him kick it next time!

You betcha!

If we are ever to get up to speed it will have to include a way to take back education, especially the early years. Once a person graduates from high school, frequently with a diploma they can't even read, the die is cast. My granddaughter is 9-years-old, in the third grade. It's too late for her. They have sucked her brain. She won't eat a hamburger because it's bad for the environment. She goes on and on. Don't get her started on veal, or cosmetic research!

I can't think of a single person who has come out of school a typical brain-sucked liberal and been turned around. It's easier to deprogram them from a cult.

Quit trusting those who have betrayed you. Start over. Do it right.

It seems the meeting was Sept 15, 2008 and the 500 billion was taken out the previous Thursday 9/11.

I had to watch my fingers there, sis.

Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.

Hey Barack HUSSEIN Obama, I went to Harvard too! That was the worst fieldtrip of my life, but I went there...

Where does your granddaughter live?

I just talked to our family physician today and he had an office full of sick elementary and middle school kids. I asked him if his kids were sick too, he said no. And that he is home schooling his children.

This is in a town with great public schools and none of the liberal baggage. I told him I applauded his actions.

My grandson is almost 2, and sharp as a whip. My daughter and here husband are both rockrib Republicans (conservative type). I think they can counter the propaganda. My daughter is much more conservative than her husband but he is certainly no leftie.

"Our GOP leaders in Congress..."

I'm sorry sport, but nobody who uses any expression like that has any credibility with me.

"GOP leaders in Congress" is an oxymoron that ranks right up there with "bureaucratic efficiency" and "media integrity."

IF (and this is a big damn "if") a new GOP leader emerges, he won't be found in Congress, nor anywhere else in Washington.
And it's pretty unlikely he'll come from the so-called "Republican Party."

We are in Tampa, FL. It's not entirely the fault of the public school system. Her Mom is really strange. If this were the 60’s she would be a hippie. In 2009 she's just one strange bird. When her daughter was four-years-old DIL decided she was really a guy, not a girl. It was downhill from there. I swear she works 18 hours a day to be as unattractive as possible. She works for a very liberal child advocacy group here in town and she is surrounded by single moms who wear their weirdness as a badge of courage. I'll go by there to pick up my granddaughter and you can just feel the ‘tolerance’ when I walk in. Brrr...

But, I must also add that DIL has made a point of never bad-mouthing Cassie's dad or keeping him from being a part of her life. So she's not all bad, not at all. But she sure makes me uncomfortable. I'm working on it, but I have a ways to go.

We have allies, not the least of which are Young Republican groups in colleges and high schools. I’ve seen pictures if them here coming out to support Freeps.

They know a lot about these new media and technologies and so could help with that part.

I can think of other groups of allies I’ve heard about here... some are linked on the FR homepage :
http://www.freerepublic.com/home.htm

When you think of all of their allies that they have linked to on their websites, there’s quite a network of various conservative groups.

We homeschooled our 3 kids. The youngest is now 16 and will be done in the next couple of years. The public indoctrination centers are factories churning out little neo-fascists.

All will be lost in another generation if we do not pull our kids out of that system.

Just how are we to turn the party around back to conservatism when we have had one hell of a time keeping so called republican senators on the conservative track?Hell, In Georgia a rock ribbed conservative state we had to threaten our senators with Tar and Feathering to get them to listen. The party is too far gone as far as I am concerned and not worth the powder its takes to blow it all to hell.Time to start the conservative party. No rinos thank you.

Haven’t they heard, Waxman is going to shut down the “new” media? The demons will cut off every method conservatives have to communicate. They are going to control every means of communication.
