Paul is within the margin of error of Romney.
Survey Methods
Results are based on telephone interviews with 1,010 national adults, aged 18 and older, conducted Sept. 14-16, 2007. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±3 percentage points.
For results based on the sample of 401 Republicans or Republican leaners, the maximum margin of sampling error is ±5 percentage points.
Tom too.
Paul is within the margin of error of zero.
Let’s see Duncan Hunter pass Romney!
The only surprise is that Romney continues to do so poorly in these types of polls, despite his financial and organizational strengths. I think the anti-Mormon bias is a lot stronger than is generally acknowledged.
looks to me that we have 3 leaders an a bunch of also ran.
Paul will never be more than a how cares in the polls. He has done more to undermine the concepts of libertarianism than anyone I can think of. Being blunt, he is a nut case. he is at best a fringe candidate.
Interesting. Rudy leads in polls that have the widest possible sample (ie. in this case “adults, not registered voters or likely Republican primary voters as Rasmussen polls).
When the sampling is done with a group resticted to the people who will actually decide the race, Republican primary voters)Rudy’s 8 point “lead” becomes a 9 point deficit.

Am I supposed to care where Ron Paul is at? I haven’t even a drop of respect for a man who could answer a former slave in Sudan that no, he wouldn’t never help the slaves of Sudan. He had the sense to hang his head while everyone else said they would help. But not enough. Ron Paul doesn’t operate within reality.

Very astute point. Its reminds me of McCain in 2000 to a certain extent. When ‘crossovers’ were allowed, he did well. when the real deal came around, he got his butt handed to him.
I think the anti-fake conservative bias is a lot stronger than is generally acknowledged.
Guiliani is a RINO, but he at least admits it.

Observe the Alex Jones fawning as well.

Possibly. Or, it may be that he's seen as a slick phony.
And of course you'll provide the Constitutional basis for it? Oh heck why bother, let's just toss our tax dollars somewhere else eh? We'll be sending an expeditionary force to help the folks in Darfur too shall we? And no, I wouldn't 'help' the slaves of Sudan either through government channels. Why? Because it's not under the scope of government powers
Yes, that one (the second chart in the article) is a better, more relevant reflection of the candidates and their numbers. Thanks. I might not have noticed it otherwise.
