Very eye-opening, and it's appalling to think how many of those goals have already been met. They are, of course, now an instrinsic part of the democrat party.

You seem to be somehow missing the obvious. The dems more then anything live and die by the polls. There is NO POLLING that shows the cutting of funding to the troops to be even close to being a majority view, In fact the polling overwhelmingly supports the continued and if necessary INCREASED funding necessary to carry this war to a favorable conclusion. This is from a PEW POLL and PEW is not a Republican favoring polling firm.
