Check out this movie To Live (Huozhe)

It's chinese, and subtitled, and excellent.
It shows what communism is all about.
I'm really surprised China made the movie.
It is a total condemnation of Mao and his whole movement.

When they are ordered to give up all of their cooking utensils in order that the entire village could make the equivalent of three cannon balls, the people are told not to worry because Communism will provide for them.

LOL. And what line item is that? The President does have some disaster relief funds, etc., but there are very specific conditions and restrictions on how those funds can be used.
