He is a RAT who complained that his travel was interrupted because the GOP Convention was held in NY, instead of praising them for bringing in much needed $$. If memory serves, he also supported Kerry.
He's simply a Hillary clone who supports the war but not our President.
In the same vein as Ed Koch, Joe Lieberman et al.
Rats to the core but happen to support the troops in this one.
Thanks for the link which confirms what I stated prior to reading the thread. I loved the series until learning where he and Falco stood and admit it's difficult looking past their politics, especially when Falco vehemently objected to the line "I voted for George Bush". Read the lines dammit and keep your politics to yourself.
Sheesh, that's a completely different thread.
Thanks for clarifying.
Those are great pictures!
But I'm not saying James Gandolfini is not a good guy. Judging from those pictures, he's a great guy. In fact, that he supports heroes like your son is probably MORE admirable given that he doesn't support the war or President Bush than it is for someone like Ted Nugent to support the troops, because he's putting them above his own politics to do so. That he was a Kerry supporter does not in any way diminish his character, as far as I'm concerned. Not all liberals are bad people--- in fact, the vast majority are not. My point is that his expression of solidarity with the troops does not imply support for the Bush administration holding Hussein accountable and overthrowing him.
God bless you and you son!:)
Well, you were correct with that quote, so I didn't think you would mind being quoted. I didn't make it very clear where it was coming from and I apologize for that.
I remembered your statement almost two years later because that thread has to be my all time favorite. I have it bookmarked for when I think I need a reason to be thankful. I can go to it and thank God again.
That is not the point.
I love the keyboard commandos and their ideas of "getting tough". Undoubtedly their ideas on Monday of how Sunday's game should have been quarterbacked is JUST as relevant.
Koch campaigned and voted for W.

Korea, yes. VN, no. The public was very connected to VN. It was everywhere from the nightly body counts on TV news to HS campi where pimply faced fat girls staged sit-ins.
Thanks for the ping, you have a good memory.
.....She's been supporting HITLEERY big time!
Actually, if I'm not mistaken--Pauly Walnuts isn't the only one who's a conservative on that show. The actors who play Bobby Baccala, the late Vito "I love a man in uniform" Spatafore and Johnny Sacs are all Dubya supporters. Of course, they're balanced by idiots like Little Steven and Edie Falco--but hey, it's a start.
Many of today's American people won't sacrifice anything. They consider their comforts as rights.

A handful of conservatives in Hollywood speaking sense mean more than the masses of them speaking nonsense. Just look at Alec Baldwin and his radio debut. Talk about an idiot. They can talk all they want, but who's actually listening other than for when they have a captive audience and those that want to anyway.
That's why I, many of us, no longer see movies that were made in Hollywood, b/c they've used those to create a captice audience that's paid to hear their crap faucet run on and on.
I agree, I think we should do these things also.
I planted tomatoes for the first time this year, since we eat so many. I think those'll be my victory tomatoes.
OTOH - if any of these things were done, especially ration cards, could you imagine the uproar? War is ok as long as people aren't inconvenienced when they turn the news off.
Yes, I just listed rationing without separating it from the other items, didn't really consider it.
I think you and the previous replier have a good point about it; I don't think it would be a good idea.
My main point here is to emphasize we are in this war together as a country and to provide more concrete ways to share the burden and effort.
