I read through this fellow's diatribe: One word of warning about what he said: All this compassionate conservatism (ie liberalism) has the possibility of creating exactly what the author suggests.

In refusing to address out of control government spending and the nanny state we are only postponing a day when future taxpayers will say "no that is enough". By then the state will have so many clients that cutting off their benefits could possibly lead to conflict (Look at France).

If you think I'm a tinfoil hat wearing extremist you are probably right. But check out what the Concord Coalition has to say about the rising federal debt. http://www.concordcoalition.org/ One failure I think they make though is that they don't project the growth of the federal and state governments. Which if one takes that into account suggests 80% tax rates for ALL by 2020 or so to pay for services, entitlements, the military and interest on the debt.

All I'm saying is that the there is time now to milk people off of so called entitlements (one thing I've always written my reps to ask for is renaming those for what they are: Charity confiscated off of others). If Republicans continue this plunge to the left with illegal aliens and out of control spending I think it quite likely that when the magic spigot is turned off those people will indeed take to the streets.

This guy reminds me of a man I saw in a bar once. He sat there on the bar stool, having a heated exchange with his reflection in the mirror behind the bar. It eventually ended with his calling himself out to the parking lot to settle the argument. Of course, he didn't show up, so he felt like he had shown up the coward for what he was. Sad.

I did not even know somthing called christian dominists exsited till I saw Mark Rich try to scare people like you.
