The ANSWER Coalition expects more than 100,000 people, from families of US soldiers to trade unions and diverse religious groups, to take part in the demonstrations against the war in Iraq.

I'm sure the Secret Service are more than capable of handling them.
Perhaps literally.

Hah, maybe 1,000 if they're lucky.
I might have to make the 10 mile trip and knock some heads together

Protesting defensive measures against self proclaimed total enslavement/death of humanity is utter suicidal stupidity.

I think this time it will come around to bite them.
I know I've had my fill of these traitorous scum.
I didn't care for it in the 60s and 70s and I sure
am not willing to put up with it now, again we come back
to the two lessons of Vietnam, the liberals learned one,
that they could influence the country and weaken it to the
point that their OWN fellow citizen/soldier's lives were of no account, and my self and the other vets and families who vowed never to let them do it again.
Never Forget, never forgive, NEVER AGAIN.
See, the Islamofacist follow closely the sins of America during the NAM years. Pretty soon we shall hear about our men and women in uniform being spit upon and cursed at.
Now all they have to do is continue hanging in there and sending young super ill-informed Muslims to strap those bombs on and ride those IEV's into crowds of innocents. On the home fron the L/MSM, demos, and RINOS can look proudly on and watch their moment of victory close at hand.

These people are nothing but hate-America filth. They are hate-America leftists and NOT the middle America this stupid article claims.
"The Million (Insert 100,000) Man March"
That's my understanding. I think they're connected with the World Workers Party, which is explicitly communist -- and the connection is not a secret. It's funny how the media never bothers to mention this. You'd think it would merit a mention.
Mark your calendars!
We need to protect the Whitehouse from these leftist scum.
Oh, they'll be fine. Let them gather in one place so we can mock. We had a fine time during the protest kicking off the Republican Convention. We laughed for hours. My favorite chant: "Fox News Sucks"

Spineless US Senate would rather protect Hanoi Kerry
than deal with the anti war crowd.
Anyone who thinks Hanoi Kerry isn't behind the anti war crowd needs to get a clue.
It's time to support our troops and ignore the jelly fish in the US Senate!
There is no need to impeach Hanoi Kerry from the US Senate
He is there illegally!
WAKEUP AMERICA!
For those who "forgot" what Hanoi Kerry
did in the past read on and learn the truth.
Hanoi Kerry was still a USNR officer while he:
gave false hearsay testimony to Congress
negotiated with the enemy
helped the US lose a war
abetted in the deaths of millions
created a hostile environment for all servicemen
Why is Kerry still in the US Senate?
This is in violation of
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3

And the FBI has proof of his treason.

Good, we have plenty of time to organize another Patriot's March. I wonder how many cops the leftists plan to kill at this one?

The Vietnam war was the longest in our nation's history.
1st American advisor was killed on June 08, 1956,
and the last casualties in connection with the war occurred on May 15, 1975, during the Mayaquez incident. Approximately 2.7 million Americans served in the war zone; 300,000 were wounded and approximately 75,000 permanently disabled. Officially there are still 1,991 Americans unaccounted for from SE Asia.
Vietnam was a savage, in your face war where death could and did strike from anywhere with absolutely no warning. The brave young men and women who fought that war paid an awful price of blood, pain and suffering. As it is said: "ALL GAVE SOME ... SOME GAVE ALL"
The Vietnam war was not lost on the battlefield. No American force in ANY other conflict fought with more determination or sheer courage than the Vietnam Veteran. For the first time in our history America sent it's young men and women into a war run by inept politicians who had no grasp of military strategies and no moral will to win. They were led by "top brass" who were concerned mainly with furthering their own careers, most neither understood the nature of the war nor had a clue about the impossible mission with which they'd tasked their soldiers. And the war was reported by a self serving Media who penned stories filled with inaccuracies, deliberate omissions, biased presentations and blatant distorted interpretations because they were more interested in a story than the truth! It can be debated that we should never have fought that war. It can also be argued that the young Americans who fought so courageously, never losing a single major battle, helped in a huge way to WIN THE COLD WAR.

Do they have any alternate plans other than just "protesting the war"? September will be about the time Iraqis vote to ratify their new Constitution and set up elections for a democratic government, if I'm not mistaken. What tools these ANSWER protesters will look like in the face of that.
BUMP! Commies and queers, what a waste of good manure.
You're right, of course. They are singing to the choir.
Man, I can't make it up there in September. I'll be in VA in August. Can they move it?
Hey, uninformed leftist protestors. Kofi Annan and the EU say Iraq is making great progress. You wouldn't want to destroy all that, would you?
If they had any balls or support they would try it on the 4th of July. What better day for a patriotic affirmation of the 1st amendment.
Unless they think there might be people there that disagree with them. (?!?)
Yep, these people were happy to sell out their country for the sake of a small bunch of communists. And they are willing to sell it out again. Hard, but true.
Pick me up on the way, we'll wade in back to back and start slinging some knuckles.

BRING IT ON!!
We'll be there to greet them.
Some times it is not fun.
They are disgusting people.
They only pull these stunts because nobody else is paying any attention to them these days. Let the morons have their freak show; I still won't care.
"a flaming letter"
Hey, brushcop, why don't you post the letter here so we can enjoy it?
The ANSWER Coalition expects more than 100,000 people, from families of US soldiers to trade unions and diverse religious groups, to take part in the demonstrations against the war in Iraq.
And I expect the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders to show up at my place for a weekend of cheap sex.
Thought you all might like to see this from one of our soldiers currnetly in Iraq.
Tim is responding to an article from his hometowm newspaper that was sent to
him by his father:
"Young people aren't making sacrifices"
By Tim S.
My father sent me Murray Bass' column "Cowards aren't willing to defend this
great country" and I wanted to write to thank him for bringing to light an
important issue in today's society.
I am a 28-year-old deployed National Guard infantryman. I've been deployed since August, been home for two weeks to visit my wife - an area police officer - and won't be back home until February 2006.
I am a corporal/team leader and train my fellow troops in my off-time. I'd come home in a second if it was the right thing to do, but this for the time being is where my country needs me to be. I'll lose $50,000 from my civilian
job over the duration of this deployment, have missed more important events than I care to count and my wife and I have to put off having children until I return. And I'm proud to be here.
The young people of today have no idea what sacrifice is, nor do they care to honor the deeds of our soldiers today. My team has had many close calls, we have been shot at and our vehicle was riddled with shrapnel when an IED exploded 20 feet from my truck. We were sitting on a road and ready to get out to do our IED sweep.
If I had given that order, my driver would have been killed and my legs would have been cut off. Nothing could change the motivation and desire we have to be the most professional and best-trained soldiers the world has ever seen.
While we try to ignore the protests and try not to think of the anti-war sentiment at home, it stings. It bothers me to know that college "kids" hate what we are doing here. They never stop to think that death and destruction
on the field of battle is timeless and always will be.
We face death every day to make sure 9-11 doesn't happen again. We face death every day so the people of Iraq - Sunni, Shia and Kurds alike - can live without the worry of being raped or murdered during the night.
How many of these college students have seen what an IED does to American soldiers? Have they watched beheading or stoning videos, innocent people killed during Saddam's ruthless dictatorship? Do they know what it's like to
carry 60 pounds of gear in 115 degree heat, drinking gallons of water every day just to stay hydrated?
We have our struggles, and so have veterans of all time. World War I and World War II vets left home, not knowing when they would return - and I'm sure many certainly knew they wouldn't return. Soldiers volunteer for dangerous duties and missions so someone else doesn't have to.
A soldier will give you half his food even if he is hungry and he'll take your guard shift even if he's already done his. He'll spend hours cleaning gear and equipment he already knows is combat-ready, just because it might
make the difference. All this and we find simple pleasures in the jokes and companionship we share during our tour together.
Young people of today have no idea what sacrifices have been made so they can grow up and speak out against our great nation. They feel entitled to their opinions, their education, their job and the car that mommy and daddy are going to buy them. Signs of the times, plus an overloaded judicial system and a military struggling to keep its numbers up.
What happened to sticking with something, seeing it through; and why have rap artists replaced real heroes? What happened to the idea of an honest day's pay for an honest day's work, taking care of your parents when they
get old or actually stopping at a cross walk when a pedestrian is crossing the street?
And to the young person who would read this and say, "so what" or "you think you have it tough," you'll find out soon enough. Your selfish attitude and lack of service to your community and country makes you cheap in the eyes of
those who have earned your way for you.
You'll never know the great devotions, the brotherhood of people bonded together, trying to achieve peace and make it home alive. You'll never know what life really means because you've never had to fight for it or seen it
flash in a white light and deafening bang as your HUMMWV fills with smoke.
You'll never know the sorrow and strange sense of pride as you render a salute to a pair of boots, rifle and helmet - another soldier who gave their life for you. Go to school, learn how terrible your country is, speak out and alienate yourself - expect everything on a silver platter and take all you can get, because we've earned you those rights.
Tim S. is a police officer and a member of the National Guard, currently deployed in Iraq.
Thanks for the ping!

confirmation of Karl Rove's words...
Rove Criticizes Liberals on 9/11
By PATRICK D. HEALY
Karl Rove came to the heart of Manhattan last night to rhapsodize about the decline of liberalism in politics, saying Democrats responded weakly to Sept. 11 and had placed American troops in greater danger by criticizing their actions.
"Conservatives saw the savagery of 9/11 in the attacks and prepared for war; liberals saw the savagery of the 9/11 attacks and wanted to prepare indictments and offer therapy and understanding for our attackers," Mr. Rove, the senior political adviser to President Bush, said at a fund-raiser in Midtown for the Conservative Party of New York State.
Citing calls by progressive groups to respond carefully to the attacks, Mr. Rove said to the applause of several hundred audience members, "I don't know about you, but moderation and restraint is not what I felt when I watched the twin towers crumble to the ground, a side of the Pentagon destroyed, and almost 3,000 of our fellow citizens perish in flames and rubble."
Told of Mr. Rove's remarks, Senator Charles E. Schumer, Democrat of New York, replied: "In New York, where everyone unified after 9/11, the last thing we need is somebody who seeks to divide us for political purposes."
Mr. Rove also said American armed forces overseas were in more jeopardy as a result of remarks last week by Senator Richard J. Durbin, Democrat of Illinois, who compared American mistreatment of detainees to the acts of "Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime - Pol Pot or others."
"Has there ever been a more revealing moment this year?" Mr. Rove asked. "Let me just put this in fairly simple terms: Al Jazeera now broadcasts the words of Senator Durbin to the Mideast, certainly putting our troops in greater danger. No more needs to be said about the motives of liberals."
Thanks for the writings by Cpl Tim. They truly reflect what our men and women in uniform represent. For so many entrenched "safe" people in this country, they have not a clue as to the underlining goodness inherit in those that serve, often sign up during a national crisis, war, etc.. So many spoiled lame brained dumbed down parents and children inhabit this land with not a clue as to what Cpl Tim writes about, that is for sure. I wonder just how many people say teenager and up while viewing pictures of our fallen heros on the boob tube and in newspapers etc., wonder for even a minute of just what kinds of individuals these fallen heros are. They serve with honor and un-yielding commitment, not found elsewhere in this society. We salute them and we who know, shall never forget the sacrifices these men and women make. As for the anti-war protestors. It has to be expected. As in every war this country has fought, they always appear sooner or later.
I want a gold toilet and Heidi Klum to give me a footrub. Oh, and a pony.
"The ANSWER Coalition expects more than 100,000 people, from families of US soldiers to trade unions and diverse religious groups, to take part in the demonstrations against the war in Iraq."
I'd like to see 100,000 patriots show up in a counter demonstration with baseball bats. Then we'll have a contest to see who can hit these moonbat's heads the farthest.
BUMP
Haven't you heard? As of today the Supreme Court has declared the Constitution null and void.
