Why Zotting is Better than Just About Anything

Posted on 04/13/2005 3:11:30 PM PDT by Cliff Claven

Edited on 04/13/2005 3:43:39 PM PDT by Sidebar Moderator. [history]

I drove out to Zottsville yesterday and spent the night there so as to be ready for Zotting court this morning—nothing major at all, just a Zot infraction.

Zottsville is a kind of heaven. Not the boring sort of cotton-wadded hell that they told you about in Sunday school, but a vibrant, living place with good Zotting lights and Zot style.

It is the only city I know, having been a troll most of my life, with the possible exception of Zot City, that has a personality.

Zotstown has a Zot personality; and lots of troll plastic surgery.

But Zotsville is alive.

I consider it proof, by the way, that good posting is better than troll posting. No sane troll would prefer to live in Zotting Town than Zotsville.

Looks like the Admins have changed the title from 'Why Liberalism is Better than Conservatism.' Ha-ha.

Cliff, guy, I hate to break it to you, but all of the bath-houses are capitalist enterprises, knowwhumsayin'? Anal lube ain't cheap and leather, don't even start me on leather! Could you get any of that stuff in Havana?

You must prefer stripjoints. That feature crossdressing homo's.

San Francisco is a great city.

Just most of the people who live there suck.

You're right about that, but your assessment of Boston proves that your idea of a good city equals one that matches your ideology, which is, frankly, a stupid way to judge a city. Are you seriously saying no conservative had a hand in the creation of San Francisco, and ONLY conservatives built those "other" cities? That's dumb.

COOL!

What is it? it sounds like a transformer going up.

Jeez, you folk should be a little more resistant than the responses on the rest of the thread. Resounding silence is the best way to deal with an obvious troll.

"But San Francisco is alive."

I understand that many of the folks in San Francisco will bend over backwards for you. Is that the action you desire?

San Francisco is so alive and so deplete of...kids! How can a city feel alive without kids?

It is a transformer going up. It got worse when the sprinkler system started spraying it with water. It was required watching when I worked at the nuke plant.

You've had way too much beer, it pickled your brain. I'm wondering if you are a conservative pretending to be a liberal because I've never seen one who could spell.

I have no idea what makes you draw that conclusion. It's the people and the character of a town that creates a town's energy, not the presence (or absence) of commercial real estate.

You probably just haven't bloomed yet. Expand your experiences and your travels, and you will find many wonderful places across the fruited plain, and around the world.

Also consider St Louis, New Orleans, San Diego as charming places. Lots of towns have personality, notwithstanding the presence of strip malls.
