Where's Bubba? Hello Bubba Army. If you haven't noticed by now, btls.com and bubbathelovesponge.com are both down. Let me do my best to answer some questions that you may have about the show. Please understand that there are a number of things that I am not at liberty to discuss at the moment. However, with this being the only means of communication that we have with the public as of now, I'll do my best. The overwhelming question I've been getting is: Where is Bubba? Is he coming back?
The official show position is No Comment. However, a check of WXTB, WPLA and WJRR's websites should serve as an indication as to Bubba's status with those respective stations.
You have to realize the impact that the FCC's grandstanding, politically-motivated actions have had on the entire radio industry, not just Bubba. If you think this is bad, just wait until six months from now. With the crosshairs off of Bubba, now other "controversial" talent may be next.
If you want to hear Bubba again, we need you to let XM Satellite Radio know. They have been excellent partners with us, but in this time of transitition any positive words of reinforcement you could provide would be immensely appreciated.
Please e-mail XM Radio at programming@xmradio.com and politely tell them that you want to hear Bubba The Love Sponge® Uncensored exclusively on XM. Please be courteous, and please be sure to mention Bubba The Love Sponge® by name.
Bubba, Brent Hatley, Matt "Spice Boy" Loyd, Mike "Manson" Waters, and even Nedly Mandingo are all very appreciative of the support you've shown the show. Hang with us, and hopefully we'll be able to weather this storm and move on to a venue where we can take things to a whole new level. We need your help to do that, so please e-mail XM and tell them that you want them to offer Bubba The Love Sponge® in an uncensored form.
In the meantime, BubbaArmy.com remains alive and well. We're working hard to fulfill all orders that have been made, and we are accepting new orders (and will continue to do so).

Ok, nice job. What's going on here...? Freedom, freedom of expression, all that good stuff...I've been a long time listener of Bubba's Show, and don't always like what he said, a lot of times, ironically, because he's too conservative for my tastes. Then I turn the dial, and don't listen. He's funny, to me, not funny to others, who cares? A grown adult can make the choice of either listening, or not, and I hardly thing a loudmouth DJ is the worst threat your oh so precious children are faceing. Which, by the way, wouldn't be listening, if they were being supervised sufficiently. To my knowledge Bubba hasn't been convicted of any crimes, so the issue at hand is simply some people deciding his show's inappropriate, and he's gone. What about those that did find his show appropriate? Why don't those whiners just stop listening? Fining Bubba off the air accomplished a few things, sure, mostly I don't get to listen to his show, he and his staff are out of a job, and every DJ is being scared into fitting the same mold. Meanwhile, the adults that don't want to listen to him don't have to turn the radio dial anymore, oh thank god, and the kids aren't exposed to him anymore either. Bangup job. Let's hope you can make the real threats to them disappear as well, like drunk drivers, alcohol, drugs, war, guns, crime, poverty, unemployment, collapse of the social security system....

Zot City (sung to the tune of Surf City)
1st Verse
I drive a ninety two Civic,
And it's got a big woofer.
Zot City Im a bum.
I got a college degree,
Can't get a job as a roofer.
Zot City Im a bum.
Well I aint got a job,
Cause I'm stupid as crap.
My parents think I'm lazy,
But I got a bad rap.
Chorus
And Now I'm going to Zot City
Cause I hear it's fun.
Yeah I'm going to Zot City,
So I've gotta run.
And now I'm going to Zot City
I don't need a job.
I'll just go to Zot City
And remain a slob, Now.
Two Zots for every troll!
2nd Verse
When I get to Zot City,
Think Ill do me some trollin.
Zot City Im a bum.
Ill post some stupid remark,
Then run away while Im rolling.
Zot City Im a bum.
I wont answer replies,
Or make a lick of sense.
Id have to be twice as smart,
To be called dense.
Chorus
And Now I'm going to Zot City
Cause I hear it's fun.
Yeah I'm going to Zot City,
So I've gotta run.
And now I'm going to Zot City
I don't need a job.
I'll just go to Zot City
And remain a slob, Now.
Two Zots for every troll!
Tow Zots for every troll!
Ah oooooo Ah oooooo.
