It happen when GW went to see the troops at Christmas time. GW sent out a challenge to Saddam to meet him outside the base at an undisclosed location. Saddam sent a message accepting the duel. They jump on any issue.. I haven't of this prior to your posting.. but I did read (not from a wacked out left publication btw) that Saddam had been captured by the Kurds and that he was 'drugged' in order for the US forces to take him rather than the Kurds. That wouldn't surprise me...

During WWII my father's unit was in Czech. outside Prague. The people in Prague were being attacked by the German forces and the Czechs were radioing my fathers unit, an entire army force, for help.. begging, screaming for help. He said it was horrible. His unit couldn't move.. couldn't help them. Why? A Presidential order was given NOT to.. they were to wait for the Russians to 'save' the Czechs.. they had made a deal for the country to be given to Russia.
