On Monday, Associated Press reported Hillary Clinton earned the 2,383 delegates necessary to clinch the Democratic nomination for president. She’s now being called the presumptive Democratic nominee.
Bernie Sanders’ campaign, and many of his supporters, took issue with this announcement due to both its timing and the fact superdelegates don’t count until they vote at the Democratic National Convention in July.
Even still, it looks highly likely Hillary Clinton will be officially confirmed as the Democratic nominee for president in July, as she has a significant lead over Sanders in terms of both pledged delegates and the popular vote.
Meanwhile, there are primary contests across six states on Tuesday.
This is easily one of the most contentious elections in recent memory, and polls have shown most Americans have unfavorable opinions of both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, both now considered the respective presumptive nominees for the Republican and Democratic parties.
Many Bernie Sanders supporters are seemingly unwilling to vote for Hillary Clinton under any circumstances, even if that means clearing a path for Trump to become president, who clearly has different viewpoints than Sanders.
Given all this, it’s hard to say what might happen in the general election if Clinton and Trump ultimately face one another.

The trick being played is diluting the anti-Hillary vote by splitting it 3 ways.
Choices are yes, no, Bernie or bust, or Trump. What kind of selection is that? They need to be mutually exclusive to make sense, and these choices aren’t. Anyway, it’s yes 32, no 16, Bernie 8, Trump 43.

What is MOST impressive here is the trend! Trump’s favorability has grown from 49% to 65% among Republican women. Keep in mind, at the time when his favorability was lower, many of the women polled were supporting other candidates. As the RNC party unites around last man standing Trump, his favorability with Republican women will continue to surge.

I think running mates could be a factor. If Hillary picks some obvious pander candidate such as HUD secretary Castro, could reinforce Trump support.

I voted today in California. In 1960 I registered to vote for the first time. I was a Republican and remained so until 2014 when I switched to Independent. In California an Independent can crossover and vote Democratic even at the polling place. Knowing Trump would win California’s Republican primary and out of pure hatred for what Hillary stands for I crossed over and voted for Bernie hoping to give him California and greatly damaging her standing. Hoping to throw the Democratic party into Chaos. I have never voted for a Democrat in 56 years but finally did so. Lord I pray we deny that B*tch California.

I noticed that too but think it will work against them in the end when all three numbers are higher than the Yes they are looking for (we’ll see)
Hillary is going to look bad despite the attempt to diffuse the anti Hillary vote.
It will be taken down when her number gets left in the dust.
