MOBILE, Ala. — It was the most audacious Donald Trump spectacle yet in a summer full of them, as the Republican presidential front-runner, in his Boeing 757, thundered over a football stadium here Friday night and gave a raucous speech to one of the largest crowds of the 2016 campaign.
But Trump’s flashy performance was about more than showmanship. His visit to Alabama was coolly strategic, touching down in the heart of red America and an increasingly important early battleground in the Republican nominating contest.
The Manhattan developer, who strode onstage to “Sweet Home Alabama,” is trying to show that his candidacy has broad and lasting appeal across every region of the country — especially here in the South, where Alabama and seven other states are holding a clustered voting blitz March 1.
The scene Friday night put an exclamation point on an extraordinary run in which the flamboyant mogul has thoroughly disrupted the presidential campaign and kindled a national discussion about not just politics but American culture itself.
“We have politicians that don’t have a clue,” said Trump, wearing a red hat on which was printed “Make America Great Again,” his slogan. “They’re all talk, no action. What’s happening to this country is disgraceful.”(continued)

I liked when Trump flew over in his jet—to circle the filling statium. The Bush has a little plane pulling a sign that Trump would raise taxes and vote Bush—it looked so pitiful. What a contrast.

I’m thinking they did a cut-and-paste with the 35,000 added later, and didn’t correct the “half” part.
Outside of the fact that publications like Wapoo and the aptly attributed by Levin to the rag known as as The Slimes exist. I wince when articles in them get referenced and scream at my radio when guys like Medved, Hewitt,or even Limbaugh, cite them as “sources” which emphasize their importance. And get concernened especially if it’s favorable to a particular “conservative”.
Hence I never link to them when they are posted here and consider such postings as an insight into what the enemy is up to .

And then Trumps 757 flies over. Actually a better plane than the old 747 they ferry Obama about in.

You’re right, that’s the new Boing 757. That plane loves to fly. Probably the best most reliable plane ever made. I love it where it can fly into a small airport, like Mobile, Birmingham or Bloomington, drop off it’s passengers, then rev up, moveout and turn, without help, and fly off again!!!!
Americans, all of us, are audacious you know whats. We’re Peecocks. We love to dress up, brag about our boats, and big screens...Trump like it or not embodies us.
Compare the difference of our embarrassment when we see the guy we have now next to Putin, or with the Chinese, the Saudis bowing...with Trump.
That’s why he will get the minority vote. YOu watch, he will.
