McLean, VA - Senator Fred Thompson issued the following statement regarding today's scientific breakthrough in adult cell research:
"There is exciting news for patients today. In yet another breakthrough for adult cell research, scientists have made normal human skin cells take on the relevant properties of embryonic stem cells. That is in addition to 73 breakthroughs for adult and cord blood research to date. There are still no embryonic stem cell breakthroughs.
"For all who are concerned for patients and their families, the effective, ethical, and compassionate answer is to put our money where the breakthroughs are happening -- in adult research.
"Using adult cells negates the need for cloning embryos to harvest their stem cells.
"We all want to find cures to help people with chronic illnesses. Adult cells have provided breakthroughs for many illnesses including ovarian and breast cancer, Juvenile Diabetes, Parkinson's Disease, and Sickle Cell Anemia. Today's announcement is just one more indication that our current policy in relying only on adult cells is working."

It is no wonder that the MittWits, Rudybots, and HuckabeeOstriches are so frantic to try and falsely discredit Thompson's campaign.
Their goal is to try and drown out the common sense, consistent conservative message coming out of Fred's campaign on a daily basis.
It is their only hope, because once their candidate's records are given full disclosure in this campaign season and Fred's message continues to get out they are toast!
For instance, look at Rudy, at one time he was in the upper 40 percentile in the polls, now Mr. Inevitable hovers between the low 20s and upper 20s and just can't seem to break out of that range.
Then take a look at Mitt. After spending millions of his own money and campaigning for over a year, he is stuck int he teens nationally.
I think that would make anybody nervous, antsy, and downright miserable enough to behave as you have seen them behave lately.
This leaves the Hucksters, the religious Socialist. He is moving up, however, as people get to know his record, much like Rudy, his numbers will drop.

Again, FRed gets it! And he gets it right.
This is huge. As my Dr./Cancer Research Cousin tells me, the ancillary effects on research are enumerable, as well.
This makes my point that what our Country is severely lacking is positive creativity. When you add positive creativity to your work, you get positive results, results that are way beyond the "box".
FRed is creative, and his solutions prove that the "box" doesn't even exist for him.
Get out of the "box", and throw your support to a man who really does "get it".
Prosperity. Unity. Security
