Hi everyone. I'm thinking about taking a breather from Free Republic for a little while. Not long, I'm sure. But, I just don't want it to interfere with my job, and I already had that happen once. I'm reading and posting much too much. I think a short sabbatical should help me break this bad habit.

My boss, who just happens to manage the firewall, blocked FR because I was spending too much time on here and not on the database I'm supposed to be writing. If I had your willpower I could have avoided that embarrassment and been done with that stinking database months ago. I know where you're coming from--keep in touch.

I needed to be a doc so I could be self-employed, and no one could fire me for FReeping on the job, because I'm my own boss. Can you tell us where you practice? For a number of reasons I very much would like to avoid a doctor who visits here while he tending to his patients.
