Free Republic

This place, which I've visited nearly 10 times a day since 2000, has become the TED-CRUZRepublic. It's not sad, its just the end of this place for me. I'm shredding my freeper card and moving on. What other sites are out there where can conservatives get access to news and perspective that isnt 100% moderated/censored by followers of the Senator from Texas?

Can't handle anymore until next year.

I've never posted anything like this, but.... Today's vote for cloture on Amnesty by 30 Republican Senators has convinced me that my conservative and constitutionalist politics are no longer compatible with the twisted and scheming machinations of the Republican Party. This week I'll change my voter registration to Independent, until such time as a Conservative & Constitutionalist Party emerges from the ashes. That's it for my opus. I'll of course stick around on FR, but as a committed conservative and not a Republican. Interested to hear how others might be thinking right now.

I just reckon I should just go away for awhile, whatever, Rudy as our choice, hell, give me a break! Wherever I land I will still be a real Republican when I hit the ground, wherever that happens to be! I just can't handle anymore of watching my party take itself to Hell apart!

For all of those who have called me every imaginable name because I dare to suggest that there are some things worse than death...I don't wish you on you anything that poor woman goes through on a minute by minute basis. Because you know so much, and are so sure that you are right because you are all so freakin self-righteous...I'm leaving FreeRepublic because I no longer want to be a part of something that has become so twisted. Hi everyone. I'm thinking about taking a breather from Free Republic for a little while. Not long, I'm sure. But, I just don't want it to interfere with my job, and I already had that happen once. I'm reading and posting much too much. I think a short sabbatical should help me break this bad habit.See you all soon .... NOT DURING WORK HOURS!
