Yeah there is actually lots of good content out there. It is just often overshadowed with agenda driven tripe.
My wife likes many cook shows and I watch them with her sometimes. I’ve seen chopped I believe. Another one involved creative ways to use chocolate.

I think they show mostly contests (put up several chefs against each other)...no showing how it’s done though.
Also they show one-of-a-kind restaurants on Drive-Ins and Dives (there’s another D I’m forgetting), I’m not sure if Man vs. Food is still on but that was the same type of show...
There’s no learning on the Learning Channel.

And The History Channel used to have programs about history. I have to go to YouTube and search now. No problem. “David Starkey Talks” usually gives me a satisfactory fix.

I used to love watching the Bobby Flay shows especially the one where is grilling. He also always looked like he was cocked up.

LOL. I thought maybe Val would bring up the fact that the contestants on the cooking contest shows must include one foreigner, one gay and at least one woman. And they all need a sob story about how their entire existence is a living hell and winning the competition would fix all their problems. It is KIDS Baking Championship.

The recent shows I’ve watched she states the amounts as she cooks and she’s not making anything that complicated. Sort of “home cooking” where you could eyeball most of what she does.
