I don’t know anything about the food channel, but I do know this chick seems to always be whining about something. If it isn’t her lost ex husband, Eddie Van Halen, it’s her weight. If it isn’t about her looks, face, getting old, it’s about something else. Now the food channel.

She's not wrong. How long since Guy Fieri has had a pure cooking show? Just him cooking his recipes. Bobby Flay cooks, in his Beat Bobby Flay competition show. Does Giada (hum a huma huma) still have her own Show? The Food Truck race is repulsive. Every Freak, Geek and Tranny gets cast and the Food Channel laps it up. We like The Kitchen show to a degree, but that Sunny Anderson and her loud mouth is a turn off. DDD is really good. There are more pure cooking shows on PBS / Taste TV and we watch that a lot.

"Create" is much better...I don't even bother with the food channel...all those stupid scripted challenges..(I saw a show where one of the white guys cut his finger and he was disqualified....within two minutes the black guy cut his finger and he was allowed to continue....its all fixed)...

I like Create but I also like following some good ol down home cooks on you tube...not nearly as pretentious and much more enjoyable.

I canceled Bon Appetit magazine when I read some article about some woman who started a small farm and brought in some ‘trans’ worker. The trans cried ‘because it was the first time ‘it’ felt accepted as a woman’.

One of my favorite "cooking" shows is Chopped. It's the absolutely worst way to have cooks compete against each other, but it is fun, fast paced, and gets you thinking.

I stream every episode, so after they list the "foods" that are supposed to go into the dishes, I pause and think what I would do with that weird assortment.

Cooking in the kitchen shows are fine, but it's nice to have some variety.
