VIDEO AT LINK..........................
Feb. 15 (UPI) -- A Florida woman took out her phone and started recording when a trio of masked bandits stole her DoorDash taco order from in front of her door.
Caterina Sevares said she opened the front door of her West Palm Beach apartment to retrieve her DoorDash order from Talkin' Tacos, but she instead came face to face with three raccoons who were enjoying her late-night meal.
"My jaw dropped," Sevares told WOFL-TV.
Sevardes took out her phone and recorded video of the scene, which she posted to TikTok.
"Once they started hissing, I shut the door so fast. I was like, 'They can have the carne asada, it's fine,'" Sevares said.
She said she looked out after the raccoons had left and discovered they had eaten everything except the tortillas.
Well they are called masked bandits after all.
Note that they ate the stuff inside the tacos, but left the tortillas intact...............
God gave them masks.
Stealing....
It’s what they do!
One of them stole a breakfast burrito 🌯 from some woman a couple of years ago (in my area)
🤣
Ya gotta hand it to the sneakiness of those ‘coons.
Racoons are similar to squirrels because they both are relentless in their pursuit of food, I’ve seen both perform impressive gymnastics getting into a bird feeder and other devices meant to keep them out only to be solved by these creatures.
Well, who wouldn’t?
Coons know good eatin’
She is going to have to get a lock box for her door-dash deliveries. Now that the raccoons have found a source of food, they will return nightly to see if there is more food to be had and probably bring a few friends.
We had to shoot raccoons on an almost nightly basis for a while after they discovered our cat food dishes on the back deck. It took a while for the word to get around in the raccoon neighborhood that it was not safe to try to steal that food and they finally stopped trying.

What foolishness.
I had a family of them try and move into the area. They started to get bold and start stealing my barn cats food.
A few rounds and some dog proofs.
They were eliminated.
Wildlife takes food. Alert the media!
I feel sorry for the guy. You train all your life to finally achieve a world record and the world ignores it.
Pronouns are was / were.
"When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk!
My friend had that problem in an apartment he rented. He knew there was a problem when their urine started to seep through the ceiling. I believe he trapped them and let them out somewhere.
The other fell through the drop ceiling, broke my ceiling fan and ended up, appropriately enough, in the reloading room.
That's when my inner Tuco showed up.😉
These are very smart and adaptive animals. With trail-cam videos, we’ve much time watching them and we’ve been subject to their destructive antics.
They can be very vicious. They kill small animals such as rabbits and house cats with ease. They will fight amongst themselves over food. They do not climb trees, they literally run up them. A house cat taking to a tree for protection is toast if chased by a coon.
We had a feeding area for deer. (we do not hunt deer, just enjoy watching them). In one video there were 13 coons milling about taking food and fighting over it. They looked like ants milling around.
Last fall a trail cam caught two coons cornering one of our cats. The cat was never seen again.
We cannot keep an outside cat for the coons and coyotes. Both are shot on sight. Live trapping works best. Catch them and kill them. Transferring them to another area is dumb, as the problem is simply given to another person.
When I camp I don’t worry about bears. I worry about raccoons. They are dastardly geniuses.
I once had a bag of peanuts inside a Rubbermaid jug with a 5 galling collapsible water jug on top of the lid.
I woke up when I heard a noise. It was a coon closing the lid after the marauding gang stole the peanuts. They slashed the jug, drained the water and opened the lid.
I also saw one open a zipper on a backpack to steal something.
