Michelle runs, wins and selects Barack to be her VP. The Senate of course will confirm him. After being inaugurated, Michelle resigns, and Barry becomes President for the next four years.
Nothing illegal or unconstitutional about it.
You mean fourth term.

There,fixed it
Wow!
Nobody EVER saw that before.
Did you finish the 8th grade?
Geeen-yus!
Is Michelle talking about politics and government really going to be any more coherent than Kamala or Karine — or Joe?
Michelle may win more female votes, but she’s likely to lose a lot of male voters.
Cathy, I think it’s time you read THIS thread......

Always with the negative vibes, man. Think positive.
Seems to me a VP would have to be eligible to be President. Hussein is not. 2 terms or up to 10 years.
I’m positive it’s bs
You’ve nailed it, RR...re: Michelle.
She’s carefully sculpted her image as a beloved 1st lady. Above all, she could not bear to see that demolished.
As for Obie as VP...the 12th amendment says “cannot serve” more than 2. 22nd says “elected” leaving an ambiguous loophole, which Obama would challenge since rules don’t mean chit to them.
And, the “same state” prohibition is not true. Two from the same state are not prohibited, but may forfeit EV votes from that state...again, it could be challenged, but it’s easily circumvented with the change of one residence, as Cheney did in 2000.
I was reminded today that Anita Dunn may be the runner in this WH. Her hubby Bob Bauer is Biden’s lead WH counsel. Pillowwhisperer Dunn was Commie/Marxist/China loving adviser to Obama.
Since no one seems to answer you directly, here is how I read it. The last sentence of the 12th amendment says, “But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.” Obama is “ineligible to the office of President” since he served 2 terms. I think you’re getting hung up on the 22nd A saying “No person shall be elected to the office of the President”. If he can’t be “elected” as president, then according to the 12th A he is ineligible to be elected as VP also. That’s my read...
...not to mention the NBC issue
In order to be VP you must be eligible to be POTUS. Since he has already had 2 terms he is ineligible for VP. This question was raised when hillary first ran for POTUS and speculation was she would pick bill as her veep.
stop taking shrooms while posting
Nope. bHo has already served 2 terms. Not eligible for any more terms.
Therefore, can’t be VP.
That pesky 12th Amendment...
You’re also required to be a Natural Born Citizen. Obama was born in Kenya. So, rules don’t reach democrats.
Obama served two full terms and is ineligible to serve another. The VP must be able to move into the presidency and he can not do that.
As for Harris, there is nothing that says you can’t be a complete moron and be president. If there were, we wouldn’t have Biden. (And yes, I got your clever barb on heels up)
I pick #1 but can accept 2
Well, Susan Rice was replaced with someone they call the mean girl tweeter. I forget her name, but she has a reputation as an attack dog. Biden has to be getting fed up with the Obama people on his staff. I mean, he and Jill know that these are all his people and they are using him.
