Largest study to date confirms overlap between autism and gender diversity
Spectrum News ^ | September 14, 2020 | LAURA DATTARO

People who do not identify with the sex they were assigned at birth are three to six times as likely to be autistic as cisgender people are, according to the largest study yet to examine the connection1. Gender-diverse people are also more likely to report autism traits and to suspect they have undiagnosed autism.

Researchers often use ‘gender diverse’ as an umbrella term to describe people whose gender identities — such as transgender, nonbinary or gender-queer — differ from the sex they were assigned at birth. Cisgender, or cis, refers to people whose gender identity and assigned sex match.

The results come from an analysis of five unrelated databases that all include information about autism, mental health and gender.

Did a bit more research after my earlier post today about the Transgender Shooter.

The language that these ProgTard dipsticks use reminds me of the medieval religious arguments about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

Considering that the term, cisgender is a made up to be inflammatory and demeaning, it throws this whole study into question.

I have been postulating a connection between autism and trans problems ever since the Audrey Hale mass shooting. I mentioned it when I said that it was perhaps not the best thing to release her manifesto. She was autistic and not rational. I don’t know why anyone would want to read about her blaming the counselor at the Christian school for trying to convince her that she was a woman. She agreed to the counseling. She was an adult, no one could have stopped her.

Researchers often use ‘gender diverse’ as an umbrella term. I use the term “bat shit crazy”.

There is a link between transgenderism and affirmation. The people who are wanting to change genders have probably never been affirmed as children or adults and are taking that path because the media and liberals give them attention.

So then your postulation was probably correct.

Thanks for the thread, it’s really an interesting topic but not exactly “news” as the connection between dysmorphias and autism has been observed for over a decade.

What a lot of people don’t know is the often lampooned “70 genders” has absolutely nothing to do with people rejecting their biological sex in favor of a silly label.

A lot of it’s actually a lot closer to personality traits described by people who’re “agender” and “aromantic” ie people who have very limited social interactions, people who just don’t fancy boys or girls.

Girls with autism who just think makeup all stinks of chemicals / makes all women look like clowns, and so won’t wear it, might not be butch lesbians or militant feminists. But explain to them what “neurogender” is - something unrelated to sexuality or womenhood/manhood - and they might think “that’s me to a T.”

The trans issue is all about making gender all about your biological sex and your sexual attractions - which is completely against the teaching material like Genderbread that EXPLICITLY SAYS gender identity is nothing to do with sexuality or anatomy.

I’m very relaxed about “neogenders” because they’re defined and coined mostly by curious kids and autistic young adults IN REBELLION against the LGBTQIA mafia pigeonholing that makes everything all about sex.

And neogenders are not binary - you can adopt several of them without any contradiction between them. One neogender might reflect your biological sex, one might reflect the fact you’re not sexually attracted to anybody, a third might indicate that you’re on the autistic spectrum, and a fourth might indicate that you’re quite poetic/romantic and outdoorsy in winter but are a completely short fused shut-in in summer.

Every teenage group invents its own labels in rebellion against the older generation, and this is no different. I’d rather my kids had multiple neogenders while being comfortable in their birth sex and ABSTAINING from sex, sexualisation and surgery, than them signing up to the pedo agenda.

Perhaps autistic people are more easily lead into this or that.

Children on the autistic spectrum certainly deal with more school counselors, and the entire psychiatric industry, that most other kids.

Now as to cause and effect ...

“cisgender people”

By that she means, normal, non-delusional, sane people.

I despise their fake, made up words.

That depends on the severity of their condition.

Low functioning or non-communicative can be lead astray. Not so for most high-functioning individuals.

Some high-functioning neural-delivergents are verily militant when it comes to identifying right and wrong, moral and just versus immoral and unjust. A lie is a lie, a sin is a sin. There are no “white lies” in their world, no “little sins.” All are wrong.

One thing a lot of autistic people have in common is the ability to judge beyond face value. They want to know the person, not the cover. They are more open that way.

People also presume that autistic individuals are without feelings. On the contrary, they feel deeply. They keep it in until it explodes out of them like a volcano.

I took my son to see the movie. “Unplanned.” While the opening abortion scene had me tearing up, he was silent like a stone. When they wheeled out the medical containers with baby parts, I was aghast; however, for some reason, that abstract suggestion of a container of dead babies being hauled away as garbage struck him hard. Beside me, he wept.

He is autistic (Asbergers with genius IQ) but not dysphoric. He has been going steady with a lovely young lady for a year now.

Meanwhile, my other child (who shares the same endocrine defect) is dysphoric but not autistic, also with genius IQ.

Is there a connection? Yes. A lot of conditions that give rise to gender dysphoria can also have autism as a side effect. They both can stem from the same underlying defect.

article: [study] confirms overlap between autism and gender diversity”

Gender "diversity"? WTH?? They dream up a new whopper every day.

The authentic medical term is gender dysphoria.

It is a mental illness.

It’s no more word salad than the word salads of the past.

Greaser, Hippy, Teddy Boy, Mod, Rockabilly , Rock Chick, Tomboy, Preppie, Plastic, Chav, Jock, Nerd, Geek, Sports Billy, Ned, D&D, Sk8er, Sloane Ranger, Punk, Emo, Goth, Andro, Larper, cosplayer...

There are just as many tribal definitions from the 80s and 90s as there are neogenders. The kids affix “gender” just to piss off the clueless old farts.

No, this isn’t evidence, like the sickos will claim, that there is a genetic link. This is just proof that the groomers target the socially awkward, emotionally pained, or simply easy to prey upon as their targets.

It stands to reason that any person who “identifies” as being a sex/gender that they’re not is profoundly mentally disturbed. Autism seems to be a very good explanation. I’ve seen autism...up close and personal. It is an appallingly horrible condition that renders a person utterly clueless on how the world works and on how life works.

I worked for 20+ years in "front line" medicine at a major hospital. I've seen schizophrenia...up close.I've seen it many times. There was a time when even top physicians at top medical schools blamed bad parenting for their schizophrenic son or daughter.

But today it's recognized that it's a brain disorder.

I agree and thought the same thing when I read the article.
It doesn’t take long for people to go right along with it. I thought of “newspeak” from Orwells 1984.
