Israeli system identifies habitable planets suitable for humans

The climate crisis presents a huge challenge to all people on Earth. It has led many scientists to look for exo-planets, planets outside our solar system that humans could potentially settle. The James Webb Space Telescope was developed as part of this search to provide detailed observational data about earth-like exo-planets in the coming years. A new project, led by Dr. Assaf Hochman at the Fredy & Nadine Herrmann Institute of Earth Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HU), in collaboration with Dr. Paolo De Luca at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and Dr. Thaddeus D. Komacek at the University of Maryland, has successfully developed a framework to study the atmospheres of distant planets and locate those planets fit for human habitation, without having to visit them physically. Their joint research study was published in the prestigious Astrophysical Journal.

OK. Submit your lists of people to ship off planet. I'm for the entire DNC on one planet, along with RINOs, and Antifa and BLM there, too, along with the Jan 6 commission. Believers in the Two-state "solution" on another planet. Twitter addicts go there, too.

Load them all onto Golgafrinchan Ark Fleet B and send them to one planet. This time, we keep the phone sanitizers.

Too bad that the planet is 235 trillion miles away.

I’m still laughing that anybody is attempting to find another unknown planet to move to, unless I get to make recommendations on whom to move.

Pierre Boule said there was one in the Sirius star system. Only Charlton Heston went there and found it was full of fascistic monkeys.

We need to cut global warming “research” by 90% at least if this the Bullschit “science” they are conducting. No experiments, no controls, models built out of nothing for a planet 40 light years away. It’s ridiculous.

So, the author wants to prepare you by agreeing with his bogus premise: “The climate crisis presents a huge challenge to all people on Earth.” I don’t accept his premise, so I will not waste time trying to understand his conclusions.

And part of the "Green New Deal" is constructing electric charging stations every 10 miles between here and there ...

“that humans could potentially settle.”

Not a good idea. Seeing the immense distances, and the obvious fact that it would require many generations of space travelers to complete the trip, I say “ditch it.” If they ever arrived, there would be no way to communicate effectively with Mother Earth.

Why bother? If the human race goes extinct, then it was meant to be.

This is in error. Stacey M1 Abrams, the Human Planet is not “habitable” for any life, even headlice.

NOTHING is impossible when we have man caused climate change. We can do ANYTHING...even go to make believe planets!

There might be indigenous primitive life forms to exploit! Why would anyone want to miss that opportunity?

The most “Earth like” planet ever found is almost the exact same size and mass as Earth and orbits a yellow dwarf star at relatively close to the same orbit as Earth. It is called Venus and I would not want to live there.

I suspect that most or all “Earth like” exoplanets are at best Venus like.
