The USGS has confirmed there was an earthquake in Monroe County today. It registered as a 2.4 W of Luna Pier, Michigan, at 12:49 pm.

Maybe a typo and meant 12:49 AM?

Not major waves, but people fishing at the time said the waves were higher for no apparent reason ie no wind. I think the last larger one was under Lake Erie, but felt on shore. This one went from City of Monroe to Toledo, halfway across Monroe county in some places.
