Katie Couric says many ‘turned blind eye’ to Zucker-Gollust behavior (including her)

Former “Today” star Katie Couric said that many people “turned a blind eye to inappropriate behavior” by CNN chief Jeff Zucker and network bigwig Allison Gollust, whose romantic relationship led to his resignation.

“I worked with Jeff Zucker for many years at NBC and later on my talk show. He was a talented and energetic producer. His resignation took me by surprise,” Couric said in statement through Katie Couric Media.

“(Gollust) and her husband and kids had moved into the apartment right above Jeff and Caryn’s — everyone who heard about their cozy arrangement thought it was super strange,” Couric wrote, referring to Zucker’s then-wife.

Seems ole ‘Cutie Katie’ turned a blind eye to a lot back in the day. Her buddy Matt Lauer, Brian Williams et al... Cutie was only interested in being cute and if women were being assaulted or otherwise involved with the reprobates, well that was just less competition for cutie katie to worry about.

Katie’s got more blind eyes than a blues concert.

“They all knew and it was also none of their business. You probably knew of people having affairs. Did you report them? None of my business.”

Report what?

Just tell the clown to go hire a PI, maybe th PI can get some too, I’ve seen that happen.

There are a million lives in the “Naked City.”

Do tell, Katie. What else have you turned a blind eye to over the years?

This Zucker incident should tell us once and for all that EVERYTHING you see in "the news" is TOTALLY managed.

Those "in the know" only share with the peasantry what they're told to share.

One of the first times we saw this in public and in our very faces was "Spikey" Isikoff and the Lewinsky story.

The important thing is that CNN went twenty four/seven attacking white working people—nothing else mattered.

The media lies by omission all the time.

The media lies by omission all the time.

If a lawyer or other participant withheld material evidence in a court case they'd be disbarred or the plantiff/defendant would be in heap big trouble. Yet the media does it routinely as a way of business, a tool for their ongoing leftist activism and liberal bias. I think it should be actionable.

Just like they and all of Hollywood knew about Weinstein and Epstein. Anything goes! Just don’t get caught.

That is “super strange” - I mean, these people are immersed in hanky-panky and tomfoolery. It isn’t like their co-workers are pursuing SexChanges. And they thought it was super strange?
That does not pass the “say-it-with-a-straight-face-test”.

Matt Lauer at nbc and Les Moonves at cbs were raping women while Katie Couric had an office next to them and she worked with Jeff Zucker and did nothing to help any woman but herself.
