Former “Today” star Katie Couric said that many people “turned a blind eye to inappropriate behavior” by CNN chief Jeff Zucker and network bigwig Allison Gollust, whose romantic relationship led to his resignation.
“I worked with Jeff Zucker for many years at NBC and later on my talk show. He was a talented and energetic producer. His resignation took me by surprise,” Couric said in statement through Katie Couric Media.
“(Gollust) and her husband and kids had moved into the apartment right above Jeff and Caryn’s — everyone who heard about their cozy arrangement thought it was super strange,” Couric wrote, referring to Zucker’s then-wife.

But, but, why don’t they trust us, the truth telling, fact checking media, anymore?
These people think Trump is 100% guilty of terrible crimes although they cannot name the crimes and have no evidence of crimes, but they just know he should be in jail.
Meanwhile, Zucker, Weinstein, Epstein, Biden, Clinton, and the rest of them are totally innocent of everything — until such time as they are not (if that day ever comes at all). And then it’s a total shock. Never saw it coming.
They all knew and it was also none of their business. You probably knew of people having affairs. Did you report them? None of my business.
She and Zucker knew about Lauer too, which involved harassment and was 1000% times worse. Of course that was also “super strange” (her words) If CNN has a policy against this and if was enforced against others certainly it is the business of the entire company.

Zucker has told lies all during his career. He even lied about the reason he resigned. It was the ratings, but they didn’t want to discuss that.
