The 2nd chapter of the 2nd book of Maccabees tells WHERE the Old Testament Ark of the Covenant was hidden. According to the Bible passage cited above, the Old Testament Ark of the Covenant is in a covered-up cave on Mt Nebo in the Kingdom of Jordan, coordinates 31.765095 degrees N by 35719079 degrees E, just NE of the Dead Sea. It was carried just over 24 miles from Jerusalem, when Jerusalem was about to be conquered & destroyed, including the 1st Temple, by the Babylonians, about 586 BC. This could have HUGE implications for Middle East policy. Q.E.D.
Do you mean that Indiana Jones went to the wrong location?
On Google Maps there is an espresso and juice bar close by. Maybe it belonged to the Babylonians and they just needed some thirsty travelers to patronize their business.
My understanding is that they did indeed base the character on Wyatt including the fedora tho.
When did the book of Maccabees become part of the Bible?
It’s in “Warehouse 13”.
And on the morning of the eighth day G-d divided the heavens and the earth into an everdivisible system of minutes and seconds such that the world would someday know His glory through the use of satellite navigation. He saw the minutes and seconds were good, and He said “now where am I gonna stash that box in a couple of years... gotta write some clues down in a book someday”.
I beleive that is the dead truth. The final blood sacrifice. Ron said the last visit it had been removed and was no longer there.
I guess they just can’t help themselves because they care only about themselves, and it is sometimes self defeating... I don’t see the religious forum being inundated with News and Chat... Kind of seems like hypocrisy because they would be screaming and hollering like crazy if the shoe was on the other foot.
Me too.
Catholic bible.

It comes with Catholic package.
It’s in my garage up in the rafters next to the seasonal decorations I have in storage.
The Catholic Church added it so they could prove their interpretation of purgatory is Biblical
Truth is 1st and 2nd books of Macabbees are good for historical reference but they are not inspired.
They are considered apocryphal because they include a lot of unproven accounts of spiritual interventions by God that was never proven, with erroneous and fictitious people who never existed.
They are like the heretical Gospels like that of Thomas, and others that claim Jesus married marry and had children, or other false stories who’s authors were supposedly the Disciples and others, but were proven to be written hundreds of years after the disciple who supposedly wrote them died.
Ultimately God made sure it will never be found, because why do we need it when we now have Christ?
It always has been. It’s part of the Deuterocanonical set of books. See more about the council of Rome in 382.

Not the first time nor will it be the last time someone or some group has asserted such concerning the ‘2nd chapter of the 2nd book of Maccabees,’ etc.........and yet, no one has gone and retrieved the lost ark of the Covenant, ironic, huh?
Implications for Middle East policy? Until actually retrieved, hardly. Nothing more than centuries old conjecture, etc.
