The 2nd chapter of the 2nd book of Maccabees tells WHERE the Old Testament Ark of the Covenant was hidden. According to the Bible passage cited above, the Old Testament Ark of the Covenant is in a covered-up cave on Mt Nebo in the Kingdom of Jordan, coordinates 31.765095 degrees N by 35719079 degrees E, just NE of the Dead Sea. It was carried just over 24 miles from Jerusalem, when Jerusalem was about to be conquered & destroyed, including the 1st Temple, by the Babylonians, about 586 BC. This could have HUGE implications for Middle East policy. Q.E.D.

During this Advent season, we would all do well to focus on the present location of the Arc of the Second Covenant. Our goal should be to get to where she is at so that we can be with her and other the other saints who are with God in Heaven forever.

So a group of Jews just walked 24 miles with the Ark while the Babylonians just let them saunter on by?
The Ark was presumably recovered when the 2nd Temple was built. That is the temple destroyed by the Romans in 70.
You should head on over and get it. There’s been heavy activity on that ridge for a couple thousand years now, so the odds of finding the Ark in a cave there are about zero, even if it ever was there...
Looked it up on Google Earth and sure enough, there it is.
Odd no one has walked off with it.
