Prosecutors were forced to drop criminal charges against a South Florida woman accused of stealing five Rolex watches — four of which were found inside her vagina during a jail strip search.
Delajurea Brookens, 29, beat the grand-theft charge earlier this month when the victim, an Orlando businessman named Ramon Diaz, stopped cooperating with prosecutors.
So what happens to the watches? Diaz only had proof of ownership of one Rolex, according to the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. The rest will remain in the property room at the Miami Springs police department until someone files a motion with the court to claim them.
Her defense lawyer could not be reached for comment on Wednesday.

Truly a cunning stunt.
1. Note to self: never buy a watch of dubious provenance.
2. The story doesn’t say the “businessman” is a watch dealer. If I owned a Rolex collection, I wouldn’t keep the receipts. The police must think something is hinky, because I don’t think ironclad proof of ownership is required for return of stolen property. Or, the cops just want to rip him off.
Maybe she needed a second hand???
She needed the watches to sell to get money for having her hair done.She already spent her mad money to get her eyebrows shaped; those things aren’t cheap, you know.

Different cultures have different ideas about what constitutes beauty. Native Hawaiians and Samoans think big hefty (fat) people are attractive. So do a lot of native Americans. Many African Americans think big butts are attractive. If you’re a “big” northern girl, and can’t find a decent man, come down south; extra weight is not seen as a drawback to a lot of southern men. And I’m not referring to toothless gomers, either. Naturally, there are men and women who are repulsed by fat people, but many more are accepting, than not.
Ubangies happen to think people with their mouths all grown out are attractive. I can’t see it, but to each his own.
Did you ever think you’d see the day when otherwise normal people would think someone covered in tattoos was attractive? I didn’t.
Is there something like a CARFAX for Rolexes?
It could affect resale value with something like that on it’s record.

My watch cost me $10,000 in 1986 and it’s still beautiful and keeps very accurate time.0
