Full Title: First Lady Melania slays in sleeveless floor-length, $6,000 Akris gown, as bow-tied President welcomes White House Historical Association for gala dinner
First Lady Melania Trump wowed those in attendance at the White House Historical Association Dinner on Wednesday.
Appearing alongside her husband, the first lady wore a floor-length sleeveless black gown.
The gown appears to be a similar version of a gown designed by Akris, which sells for $5,990.

Beautiful.
Mods, this is a useless thread. It was already all discussed on the front page of the Washington Post! s/
Who reads the Washington Compost? I lump Wapo & NYTimes in with CNN & MSNBC, utter poison!
The Daily Mail treats the Trumps fairly- over half the time anyway.
Yes, she is a beaut.
I’m betting that Akris donated the gown in exchange for the plug in the news.
Excellent. And she is not spending our tax money on it.
Bttt
Overpaid by about $5,900
Hope the White House was well heated.
$6,000 for Trump is about a dollar and a half for the rest of us. Whatever, it’s his own money.
She would look just as good in bib overalls, or nothing at all!
racist...
She’s hot...
thanks, caww :)
Best First Couple ever!
That woman could wear a cardboard box or a brick wall and be breathtaking.
I was surprised to see she doesn’t wear much for jewelry. I hadn’t noticed before, but it stood out in that dress.
Nice to see class and elegance again
She doesnt need jewelry to be stunning, a classy lady.
