They subcontracted Media Matters as one of their “watchdogs” for “hate speech”.
Not to mention...they want your banking habits too!!!!
Matt/Travis tells the truth, and in the eye of FB, TRUTH is the new HATE SPEECH!
Liberals, progressives, socialists, communists, Marxists...can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em...yet.

Hasn’t someone come up with an alternative? I mean, I know Zuckerzero and his buddies at Gaggle would do anything they could to sink such an effort, but somebody has to try. Fakebook needs to be much more thoroughly investigated. These people are DANGEROUS to our Republic and our liberty. I’m surprised diskus, which is owned by Fakebook, allows the conservative comments it does. Another service needs to be used for THAT venue, as well.
Continue to proclaim the Gospel. Eventually, we will be actively persecuted for it, here in the U.S., as is done in the rest of the world. We have a short window, of an unknown amount of time, to have the freedom to proclaim. The first century church met in caves and homes, and many were caught and tortured and killed, which, of course, is not uncommon in many parts of the world right now. Obama deliberately refused asylum to persecuted Christians. Pray without ceasing.
Another aspect that I've haven't yet seen raised is the larger question of: why now? What's the impetus that finally forced them to act? While a devout atheist, I do appreciate the perspective that Satan's greatest accomplishment was convincing people he doesn't exist. Without question, the greatest strength the mockingbird media possessed was maintaining a public perception of impartiality. Sure, the MSM leaned left, but the "quest of truth & justice was a time honored and noble quest of a free press", ad nuseum.
By destroying any remaining vestiges of this carefully cultivated reputation, the deep state is essentially in 'emergency throwing out all ballast mode'. So, again, I ask why? And not just the Nov elections; this is way, way too soon. In fact, look how fast defensive measures are going to be effectively deployed. So, why the first week of August? Like so many things involving Trump and the ongoing (cold) civil war, it's hard to decipher the tea leaves.
I have a few fundamental Christian friends who are banned often by Facebook. Facebook is hostile to fundamental Christians.
It was only a few thousand - a drop in the bucket compared to their billions - but the money is going to an old school billboard now instead of them.
I suspect that will happen a lot once business people begin to understand that FB can't be trusted.
“Faceplant”
Excellent post.
Lots of people involved in the online political wars don't understand that they're only seeing maybe 10% of the actual cards in the game.
I've learned to wait for the pot to simmer nicely to see what the final dish might be.
For example, I've been holding off on the Sessions question until the last couple weeks of October to see what's actually what.
Why now? Clearing the road of Conservative opposition out on the battlefield is why.
Let’s not look at each individual Nail Shop Incident, Marine Corp. recruiting office, Kirk, and Owens breakfast incidents, but look at the overall picture. They are making it seem as though nothing is safe out there for anyone singing “...our flag was still there”.
IF we are afraid to go out, and campaign then they are the only ones out their with a message. They believe their message of identity politics, hate, and BIG GOVERNMENT is going to win for them, as they accuse their opposition (us) of precisely whom they are.
IF we are going to campaign for what’s right for our country we have to be able to do so, therefore we have to somehow break the pipeline of funding to these rent-a-riot organizations such as Black Lives Matter, and others, or start seeing them jailed for extended periods of time for their lawbreaking.
Their right to peaceful assembly is the same as ours, but for some reason they get much more creative lawyers.
Consider this: 12% of the USA's population lives in CA. What's the number #1 priority issue on everyone's minds out here right now? I can assure you it isn't politics, regardless of whether the tech companies are located here or not. With fires consuming much of the state, the oppressive smoke and never ending heat wave, it's really the only news game in town.
So why the early August parlay? It seems to be foolishly premature, because it provides plenty of time for defensive responses, PLUS it rallies the base of patriots who are well aware of what is occurring. I mean, banning certain R politicians who are running for elective office? Really? Think about how poor those optics are for the 50% of the country that supports Trump.
So, something has to be afoot. My guess is the core intent isn't really to ban/suppress conservative speech (at least, not until they are truly ready), but to send a message to their base. In effect, it's a giant virtue signalling appeal to the left; maybe a show of confidence?
Anyway, there's a lot more to this than meets the eyes of casual observers.
I think some of the current “religious freedom” bellyaching will go away as the power of the gospel kicks in again for a season. One expects some pushback from Satan and from weak believers that Satan is pushing around. (”Alexander the coppersmith did us a great deal of harm. May it not be held against him.”)
If a duffer like me can preach and it’s listened to, then the Franklin Grahams of the world are going to have no trouble at all doing it (comparatively speaking).
Anyhow yes I have a prophetic gift and a song lyric writing gift, and the two are going together fine. Some of my stuff has been quirky, such as songs about rednecks (though I made clear in an initial song about rednecks that they come in many colors and are found nationwide — so it refers to an attitude not a race or region).
One problem the church needs to watch out for, and with almost 2000 years of history, it does have some warning now, is getting too mixed up with government. It needs to be salt and light without being a Caesar salad, so to speak. Friendly rulers, even those that would protect us, we should welcome. Rulers that ask us to install a church in the government, we should decline (that was the Constantine mistake, and it took the consequences of the Reformation to fix it in the Western world).
You don't have to have a Fascistbook account in order for them to track you ..... they collect your browsing history and sell it anyway. Seriously. They do.
Ya know... I’m long past caring. There is enough sloppy handling of data and fishbowlery in the internet that anything could turn up anywhere. You know the Equifax scandal and the follow up revelation. That’s the stuff we KNOW. What don’t we know? I was in an office that was supposed to be a data clean room and it was terrible and the nod-wink went right up to the general manager. I would have had to say God help it, because human practice wasn’t even trying to help it.
Nope. I’m past trying (beyond minimal security measures like malware scanners and passwords). I’m committing the whole smelly shebang to an outside Consultant — actually a Buyout Guy — the Lord and Savior, Unlimited. Well OK we should be good stewards. But paranoid ones, I don’t think that’s in the bible anywhere at all.
Let um track if they care to. I hope they get eyefuls of gospel if they actually do want to track me.
If you only were chanting “Death to whitey!” or something like that... then their ‘algorithms’ wouldn’t have even noticed you.
