Medium has suspended the accounts of prominent far-right figures Mike Cernovich, Jack Posobiec and Laura Loomer.In its previous set of rules, the company had billed itself as a “free and open platform for anyone to write their views and opinions,” and said it believes “free expression deserves a lot of leeway, so we generally think the best response to bad ideas is good ideas, not censorship.” ...This language has been scrubbed from the current version of its platform rules.

I’ve never heard of Medium. Sounds like a small to me.

None of the people banned were conservatives, Loomer is a maybe. They are social media influencers.. who earn money by increasing their follower rate. They may at times reflect what you yourself believe, that is part of creating traction. There have been studies done on precisely how much they will amplify their followers.

Remember, Cerno was a former juice recipe King who wrote cringey pick up artist type essays and now sells a large font self help book. Posobic began as a Game of Thrones enthusiast who grew his account post Milo being banned. He famously deleted all his posts pre 2017... including fashy 1488 posts and his hysteria about the children being held in the basement of Comet Ping Pong, and later he was fired from rebel media for plagiarism. He and Loomer both have Patreons, but Loomer may actually be a republican given her work for O'Keefe. They are simply put: internet marketers, all of them... who earn money by producing clickbait.

The reason Gab won’t ever be Twitter... is there is NO other side. The blood sport aspect is gone. Twitter influencers like Cernovich gain influence by attacking and engaging the other side. Gab is only the right, and the even further right.
