"Journalist photographs heartbreaking scene of a starving polar bear in Canada." "Tragic Video 'Rips Your Heart Out of your Chest'" "The bear was just skin and bones as it wandered on ice-free land on Baffin Island." "Warming climate depletes the ice that's the bears' normal hunting grounds." "Polar bears are often the first arctic animals to feel the effects of higher climate temperatures."

That was during the beginning of the new ice age....

Now that it’s warmer their population has increased 500%-550%

Clearly a lack of ice ain’t killin em...

Kinda disingenuous of him to show a momma bear fresh out of the den after she has nursed her babies and lost lots of weight - in slow motion - and blame it on climate change.

Hey, cameraman! Throw the momma some meat if it bothers you.

Exactly. Remarkably similar to my old dog when I knew it was time to let him go.

Warmer, so more food for the white-fur-privileged bears.

Depends on the date of the film and the honesty of the camera team.
Polar bears hide up over the winter as the females give birth and nurse their young - as you point out. IF (big “IF” there!) the film were made now in early December, the bear should NOT be out in the open after nursing cubs. If it were taken in the middle or late spring? Cubs would be expected - but they die too.

What has been edited in, what has been edited out, what has been conveniently “moved out of the camera’s viewpoint” ? -

Like Disney’s infamous lemmings-jump-off-the-cliff movie. Do we dare believe this?

I have seen this around twitter for a week now. I find it so weird that those taking the video didn’t give the bear any fish or food. Or why not take it to a sanctuary to get the bear back to normal. Liberals are so weird. They complain but never do anything.

Every time I order an airline ticket, they always ask, do you want to add 35 dollars one way for my carbon imprint. I say “HELL NO”. What a racket this is going to be. I bet they will add on carbon imprint to every thing we buy. I just know it is coming and quickly....next Democratic President for sure.

Yep. They planted crops and harvested them in Greenland. The settlements were abandoned when the climate got too cold.

“Or it was an old bear who couldn’t feed itself any longer.........................”

That was my first thought, as well.

How do they know it's from hunger. The bear might have been attacked, injured, and is dying of a wound.

And they're not dropping it food because??

What airline asks you that? I’d make it a point to never, ever fly them.

Maybe Al Gore can fly up there and feed it. By hand. After sending his plane home.

The obsession with ‘cute’ white bears is rather shocking. The critter is the largest and the most dangerous land predator which has a scull making military-grade ammo bouncing off it. Given the opportunity it kills and eats humans as easily as cats kills and eats mice.

Yeah...the most ferocious land predator alive today! Gotta hand it to the bears, though. They hired the best PR agencies that money can buy:

They had to do this article to counter the fact that some areas are “being overrun” by increasing Polar Bear numbers...
