I have (and had) several acquaintances with MS; it's surprising how common it is.
Much research into therapy’s for MS is done in Israel, including development of new drugs to slow the progress of MS.
Absolutely terrible disease.
There doesn’t seem to be any genetic link. We know of cases where only one sibling of many got this disease.
A friend’s 40 year old son has had excellent results with Genetic’s new drug. He was in a study, and the drug was a last resort.
Epstein Barr virus is my guess. At this point it’s only a causal link.

I once had to tell a friend after examining her I thought she had MS and needed a further work up. She had it and went downhill fast. It a horrible disease.
On the upside, many, many universities are now putting major money into Neuroscience. It’s about time.
I don’t believe there is mental illness but brain disease. We are starting to reach a level of research technology that we can start to study this stuff. I’m hopeful!
Maybe they can cure a major component of homelessness. (We haven’t heard about them yet. The left is forgetting their old game plan. Expect to see it soon.)

So, all of you who have been criticizing the U.S. support of Israel---maybe you or a loved one will benefit from one of the thousands of things invented in Israel, or from one of the breathtaking science discoveries made by Israelis. That's a heck of a lot more return on your aid money than from any A-rab country or pouring your money straight down the toilet giving "aid" to the Palestinians. So they can purchase more concrete to build tunnels and more weapons to kill innocent people.
Cigarettes. Any autoimmune disease is worsened by smoking. Nothing against smokers; good people smoke.
And now, for the latest medical research from ANY country, other than the USA and Israel......crickets. Most medical research is done in our countries. What the Socialists don’t acknowledge is that private medical care is much cheaper for most working people that nationalized healthcare. And when there is more money in your pocket, there is more charitable giving. Not a lot of money for research in Socialized medicine countries.
In my own research I’ve had a few MS cases... about 16 in the past few years... several observations...
1. It is a feminine consciousness disorder just as autism is a masculine consciousness disorder. Many more women than men get MS and the men who get it are not masculine.
2. The underlying cause appears to be a traumatic experience occurring around the age of 4-5 which results in the internalization of self blame.
3. If the person is in a punishing environment, the symptoms remain suppressed. If they are in a healthy environment, the immune system self punishes.
4. About half of the 16 had the worst outbreak on their honeymoon.
5. It appears that the allosteric enzymes in the liver that can either inhibit or enhance the immune system are used to self punish by causing the immune system to suppress the Schwann cells from producing the myelin sheath around the neuron which ordinarily serves to accelerate neuron transmission rate and blocks leakage of action potential.
Just my simple observations...
but the Ahab Arabs have done sooooo much more for medicine......lets see, there's, (crickets) and there's, (crickets).....well they're intentions are good.
Have you found any luck with the b vitamins and myelin? Or some of the experimental stuff the russians have been working on for myelin regeneration?
My ex FIL has it, and bingo - onset after honeymoon. He married a harridan, so I’d say that fits your hypothesis.

I have an off shoot of MS, transeversemylitas. It destroyed the sheath on my nerves when I was 19. Left me paralyzed for 6 months took me 2 yrs to learn to walk again. Left me with balance totally destroyed and right leg substantially weaker than left leg. Still require two canes to walk with, beats a wheelchair!
