Nothing better than a nice afternoon nap after a workout!

Too old for crushing my enemies and seeing them driven off. So a nap is best!

I love the siesta, but can’t imagine two extra rush hours. Every day.

An afternoon nap followed by caffeinated beverage and I’m good ‘til midnight. It’s like two days in one.

A 20 minute nap in the afternoon does wonders if your boss doesn’t catch you doing it.

Go ahead and nap at work. Like in Kindergarten: they dim the lights and everybody gets out their mat and pillow....

Ok, maybe not. There are snorers, after all.

Author says it’s because we don’t get enough sleep. Wrong.

1) Eat a big meal for lunch and the body focuses its energy on digesting the food. So, you have less for other things. That’s the way it’s supposed to work.

Big Mac, fries, and cola = 910 calories (small fries and drink), so if you are eating fast food for lunch you are eating a big meal.

2) Carbs are sugar. Most of the calories from the above meal come from carbs (bread, fries, corn syrup). Causing you to have a sugar crash a couple of hours after eating it.

Too many calories and too many carbs. That’s what causes the 3:00 drowsies. You want to be bright and alert, then do two things:

1) eat smaller meals for lunch
2) restrict your carbs at lunch

one time, when I was working two jobs, I would take a lunchtime nap. There employee lounge had some couches, and I would nap for 45 minutes after eating. It kept me functional into the evening.

My father was career Navy, he acquired some interesting 'tricks'.
He could sleep standing up,leaning slightly back on something!

That side of the family can nap anytime, anywhere! I have seen it.
