Your psychic abilities in this instance are in error. At least in my case.

Just admit it. You both looked at the headline an thought “ah aha, here is our reason to attack Carson today.

Not at all. Carson actually came out with the asinine proposal last week and I was commenting on it then.

Neither of you spent even a second bothering to think beyond that point.

Not thinking would certainly make us Carson supporters so I suspect you're wrong in that.

You really think the Government should just keep pouring money into these schools without once checking how they use it!

You are the worst sort of Vichy Conservative. The willing stooge of the Leftist machine who buys their propaganda about “Intellectual Freedom” lock, stock and barrel.

There is no intellectual freedom on modern universities campus. you either tow the Leftist line or get intimated and harassed,

Dr Carson suggest we need to do something about that you cannot help but race feverishly to side with the Leftist machine just because Carson is “not your choice”

Just truly pathetic.

The 1st Amendment does not gaurentee your right to a Government check.

Did you attend a public university?

Thank you for proving my point. You are not really interested in learning anything about the issue. Just looking for you excuse today to attack Carson again.

Rather then speaking, try learning before you post again. Universities have standards boards. Currently the standard boards are being used to impose Leftist dogmas. Carson is advocating the Right fight backs against that.

You, simple because you desperately need an excuse to attack Carson daily, simply want to maintain the status quo where the Leftist propaganda machine continues to have unlimited access to the Taxpayers money.

Rather then ride a failed argument down in flames, just admit you two did not bother to think beyond the head line and how to use it to attack Carson.

Did you attend a public university? How do YOU know what goes on there?

Just admit it.

You know nothing at all about this Universities work. You simple were desperate for some reason to attack Carson and did not bother to learn anything at all about this topic.

Because of that was your agenda, you staked out the idiotic position that Government funding for ideological propagandizing at Universities is a “1st Amendment” right.

It seems to me you have a “desperate need” to attack other people here, attacking both their intelligence and conservatism. The poster who mentioned something about eliminating tenure is on the same wavelength as me
But as much as something should be done to curb educational indoctrination, growing and even weaponizing yet another arm of the federal government has never struck me as very conservative.

Well, I’m not proposing that. I just said the federal taxpayer money shouldn’t be funding these institutions in the first place.

OK. I am going to hazard a guess that you didn’t. Please correct me if I am wrong.

So if you didn’t attend a public university you are basing your opinion on what you have been told rather than what you know from firsthand experience.

Way to think for yourself.

It certainly is . College is pushed for the purpose of further indoctrinating kids. Technical schools focused on specialized skill training equip people far better than liberal college courses which cost out the wazu.

Thank you for proving mine. You cannot answer why you think Carson is the person best equipped to be the next president.

Rather then speaking, try learning before you post again.

I am certainly not going to learn anything from you.

Universities have standards boards. Currently the standard boards are being used to impose Leftist dogmas. Carson is advocating the Right fight backs against that.

And assuming, for the sake of argument, that that is all true universities are still state institutions. Obviously neither you or Carson have heard of the 10th Amendment much less the 1st.

Oh, for sure, the First Amendment applies only to liberals. Chuckie and his ilk firmly believe in the pasteurization of the Conservative movement as a whole.

They have nuanced, constructive ideas about everything, while we Conservatives are only capable of grunting single syllable sounds while rarely emerging from our caves.

We obviously are not meant to be a part of this political landscape, let alone be allowed to live on this plane of existence! W e should be thankful we are allowed to breath the same air as them!

We are but woeful cretins, leading the most wretched of lives, who should be out of sight from civilization (which is universally liberal in it's makeup). We are incapable of improving our lot, and I, for one, am thankful to the Chuck Todds of this world for striving to better that civilization whilst simultaneously demonstratively pointing out our shortcomings, whose number is legion!

CA....

If he were smart about public policy, which he is not, he would do what Perry tried to do in Texas.

He wanted to cut state college funding for majors that did not produce jobs needed by the American work force. That would be all the hate whitey and hate America leftist sociology studies. In short, cut liberal racism and sexist studies.

We should not even have a Federal Department of Education as it funds all the hate and stupid leftist pet studies.
