I’m a recovered Democrat. Voted for a second term of Bill Clinton and a first term of Al Gore. I realized afterward that while I inherited the Christian faith my parents instilled in me, I did not inherit their political beliefs. I’d always been conservative, particularly socially. Every, or almost every Christian I interacted with was conservative and voted Republican. I started doing likewise in 2002 or 2004. The more interested and the more involved I got into politics, the more I realized many of the Republicans we send to Washington don’t do us any favors either.

I’m strongly pro life. I’m strongly pro family. I’m strongly pro traditional and Christian values. I’m a believer in the Constitution, but I strive to be a believer and follower in Jesus Christ first and foremost.

I believe within the bible is the guide line not just for us individually but for us as a nation. If we want to succeed, we put God first. Both individually and nationally.
