I checked out the list of previous chairmen and the timing doesn’t seem unusual though the abject politicizing during this guy’s term does. Hopefully the next chair will be a bit more thoughtful.

Something I have wondered about but have no idea why is this:
How did all these organizations, funds, endowments, foundations etc. get taken over by radical leftists?
For instance, the “Ford Foundation”, the “Carnegie Endowment”, the “Nobel Prize Committees” and so on.
I think the founders of these organizations such as Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie and others were basically conservative.
I remember that Commie Spy whose name I can’t recall off hand worked for the Carnegie Endowment.
Remember that day on FR that had all those posts about O’bozo receiving all kinds of awards after he got the nobel prize?
That day was awesome and the mod’s even let it go on!
