Something I have wondered about but have no idea why is this:

How did all these organizations, funds, endowments, foundations etc. get taken over by radical leftists?

For instance, the “Ford Foundation”, the “Carnegie Endowment”, the “Nobel Prize Committees” and so on.

I think the founders of these organizations such as Henry Ford, John D. Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie and others were basically conservative.

I remember that Commie Spy whose name I can’t recall off hand worked for the Carnegie Endowment.

You are mistaken. Rockefeller and Carnagie were known financiers of the Bolshevik "Revolution".

I think it is because when their children and grandchildren took over running them they wee swayed by the fact they had inherited the money and didn't really need to work hard for it. Idle hands and all that.
