It won't be nearly as much fun as eating candy bars, but a big study is being launched to see if pills containing the nutrients in dark chocolate can help prevent heart attacks and strokes.
The pills are so packed with nutrients that you'd have to eat countless candy bars to get the amount being tested in this study, which will enroll 18,000 men and women across the U.S.
``People eat chocolate because they enjoy it,'' not because they think it's good for them, and the idea of the study is to see whether there are health benefits from chocolate's ingredients minus the sugar and fat, said Dr. JoAnn Manson, preventive medicine chief at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

I long ago learned that some ingredients of Dark Chocolate are good for you, so I decided, despite what the dumbo said, that I could “Enjoy my chocolate and have it help me too”.
Doesn’t take a PHd or MD to learn that.
Brach’s has Dark Chocolate-covered Jelly Beans for Easter that are delicious. Comes in different flavors.
We also have Dark Chocolate covered Matzoh. Been around since the time of Moses. Has a great taste and is Kosher.
The Spring time is a great time for Chocolate, starting with Valentine’s Day through Passover and Easter.
After April 15th, Tax Day, you won’t be able to afford anything so eat up now.
Chocolate is my drug of choice. In fact Mr. G tells the grandkids “Don’t touch that.... it’s grandma’s medicine.”
No matter the question, the answer is chocolate.
Actually, the answer is 42. But chocolate is a good guess.

I eat dark chocolate-covered pomegranate. That is more fun than a pill.
