Back in the good ole days, the Cowboys ran a play pretty often where Staubach would make a short lateral to the fullback (Newhouse at the time) and he would pass it.
I haven’t seen any team do that play in recent years. I don’t watch football like I used to...so I could be missing it.
In other words, he’s a COMPLETE fake. Guess he fooled ya, huh?
I don’t care. All I care about in a player is how they play the game and hopefully play to win. All this other nonsense is ridiculous. Going against a player because you don’t like their smirk?????? Seriously! We are supposed to be conservative and base our decisions on things on results not superficial crap. I am really stunned by this thread.

I don’t agree with that. I don’t like Michael Vick because of his cruelty to animals. I don’t care how he plays. I don’t like liberals of any occupation because they support my being a slave to the state. I don’t care how liberals play, I wish them to lose and that is how I am wired.
Manning is just picking them apart.

Prater may be the highest scorer in this game. In their last game Denver lost to the Pats in the second half.
Brady stinking it up on that drive.
Brady should pay tuition because Manning’s taking him to school.
I am inclined to agree with you. In today’s world of professional sports that is inhabited by thugs and general idiots...there are lots of excelling athletes. But I have let their personal antics enter into my choice of who I support.
I guess that’s why I don’t watch sports like I used to. The good guys (or perceived good guys) are few and far in between. It shouldn’t be, but kids look up to these people.
I will often root for a player who isn’t super duper because he seems to be a good guy. (Tebow)
Of course Manning IS super duper And seems to be a good guy.
Of course, I haven’t heard horrible things about Brady either. Good game so far.

I don’t remember too many games I’ve seen, but one I do is watching the Colts beat NE on their way to the superbowl. We were all in a bar in AC, celebrating my daughter’s 21st bday. The whole bar (except hubby) was rooting for Indy. It was great fun and a great victory, even hubby came over to our side by the end.
Denver 20-3, half way through 3rd quarter.
The team whose players have the most tattoos, the most illegitimate children, and who shack up outside marriage . . . the team that does the most taunting, trash-talking, showboating, hot-dogging, gyrating, and excessive celebrating--that's the team I root AGAINST.
Every team has lots of those guys like that these days, which is why I don't care so much about football (or basketball) anymore. But if there a few outstanding "good guys" on a team, and the rest of the team does less of the bad behavior, then I'll pull for that team.
