ALCON - FYI, the Air Force servers are back to not letting me log in to FR due to its "political and activist" nature. I thought we were through with this crap...
It’s going to get worse before it gets better:(
Bet you can log in to the CPUSA.org website or the White House.gov website - but I repeat myself...
Complain to the USAF.
Yikes. Can you get into DU or the like?
.
“Oldthinkers doubleplus unbellyfeel Obamasoc.”
the Air Force seems to have been particularly coopted by the leftist posy sniffing anti-religion radicals in the soetero regime
Pretty common occurrence. I can’t send links at FR to many of my friend’s work computers.
They use Websense?
Thanks for this post. I work for a federal agency (software Dev). FR isn’t blocked here, but I think I’ll start getting used to it. (Use on my own mobile devicea on such) Don’t know what the AF “by-laws” are but I but they contain clauses like “limited personal use” and “no expectation of privacy”.
That will do no good. This is what you get when they make an asshole like UpChuck Hagel the SecDef. He cares not about the rights of anyone and will toe the obama/democrat line for his own personal gain and to move forward.
He is a “served in VN” along the lines of John Kerrey who as an enlisted troop along with his brother. He didn’t like the war or the Army too much then and assumes that the enlisted troops of today share those old attitudes and are with him all the way. He actually doesn’t seem to care for anyone in the military very much.
cant you just bring your own portable modem?
Maybe we need to develop a “cut-out” site that would pose as a leftist leaning page that praises the ‘o’ and then buried deep on the page is a forwarding link to FR but doesn’t change the URL.
Frankly, it should always be a surprise when able to get to FR from a DoD computer. That should (not sure it does) also include the likes of DU, and any soros/bloomberg sponsored site.
The point is, signing on the line to serve in the Armed Forces, abrogates a number of the freedoms guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. Self subjugation under a worthwhile system of authority.
Not saying that the Air Force hasn’t gone down the PC road a bit farther and faster than say the Army, Marine Corps, or the Navy but wearing the uniform means complaining can be grounds for discipline. Not like we could go on strike.....
YMMV
Mine on Mozilla / Yahoo are rejecting FR as well!
I’m curious if the following groups’ sites are accessible:
CPUSA
Democrats.org
democratunderground
moveon.org
politico
dailybeast
salon
npr
democracynow
aljazeera
greenparty
sierraclub
plannedparenthood
I’m sure there are others worth comparing.
A government computer is the last place I’d be browsing FR, let alone logging on.
It's a tunneling proxy that makes the destination website think you're coming from somewhere else, and the outgoing signal (that's blocking your FR access) will let it pass.
Give it a shot.
Using a proxy from an Air Force computer is a huge no no.
The AF is biggest bunch of pussies in the armed forces therefore, EVERYTHING good is a No-No.
