Thousands ran with the bulls at the Great Bull Run in Dinwiddie County on Saturday, and thousands more watched them run bumping, stumbling, jostling, jumping with the big animals.
I was with them the whole time, said Dan Velker, 43, an adventure-seeking business owner from Elkton, near Harrisonburg. Running near a 1,500-pound bull is what makes it exciting.
Lining a quarter-mile-long dirt track at Virginia Motorsports Park, eight groups of 500 people at a time raced ahead, around and behind a dozen bulls stampeding down the fence-bordered course.
-snip-
While taking part in Pamplonas running is free, the 4,000 men and women participating in the Virginia bull run paid from $60 to $75 for the privilege of dodging the horned doggies.

I think if
I had a bull's horn shoved into my belly deep enough to reach my chest cavity, I'd drop my cell phone and use both hands.
But that's just me...

I’m not going to wish harm on some simps looking for thrills, but in this case it’s hard not to root for the bulls. Absolutely idiotic.

Every species needs occasional culling, and I’m not talking about the bulls.

Really?
Incredible dog.
One of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen.

Once when I was throwing the ball for my JRT on a campus quad, another loose dog ran over to a student, latched on to his (carried) sweater, and started playing tug-of-war. Janey ran over, chased the second dog off, and then came back as if nothing had happened. Some dogs are born protectors.
