Looks like Wells Fargo Bank is experiencing computer glitches. I contacted them on a transaction which I did not make and they insisted I close all my accounts. However, after talking with numerous WFB reps I found out that no web login activity for my account was logged for date in question for the transaction of interest - which was verified by WFB rep to be an on-line transaction.
So how can an on-line transaction be processed/requested when their logs indicate no login to request any such transaction. And I made no such request in any form.
Either WFB has computer glitches or they are being hacked!
Anyone else experiencing issues like this with WFB?

i experienced something similar years ago. It was a nightmare. I ran fast and far from WFB.
Maybe a “glitch” will delete my mortgage!!
I may not be clear on what you are describing, but an online transaction is the use of your card on the Internet, to order a book from Amazon for example, and in contrast to using it at a point of sale in the physical world. This is unrelated to logging into your bank to look at your account info or initiate a transaction.
Wait 24hrs and try again. Sounds like they’ve got “problems” of some kind, and if it’s a scam/hack, you could be compromised.

You were sent to a fake page and have just handed your handle and password away?
You are certain you were on a legit WellsFargo.com page?
I have WF haven’t had any problems...knock on wood
I have been with WF for over 40 years (many accounts) and only experienced a couple of issues, which they quickly took care of and worked with me till resolution.
Maybe you should contact WFB, ya think?
It would be useful if you were more specific as to what one would look for, and how.
I use Wells Fargo. Haven’t had any problems with them. I’ve had problems with Vendors attempting to make unauthorized withdrawals, but WF did a good job in dealing with this.

Your analysis seems to be a proper one. Wells Fargo is apparently showing a PURCHASE - an online transaction and deducting it from a bank account. If it is a charge to a credit card, the poster can dispute it with his credit card company if he not the one who made the purchase.
I agree with you - he/she needs to explain the “transaction”- the problem - in more detail.
I don't want one of the "big five" banks making money off of me, period. I don't like "too big to fail" and I'm not going to support them, period.
Thanks for feedback. To clarify - this was not for a purchase, POS, debit, ATM or Internet-based purchase. Not even PayPal. This was for an on-line transaction which would have required a web login to WFB site under my account using my username/password. And no I do not click on links on web sites or emails to go to WFB. My WFB credentials are not shared nor saved in any password manager. It’s in my head. With that said - WFB stated that this transaction would have been made as if I or someone logged into my account at the WFB site. However, they track web login usage and after review log/my account there was no evidence that any login was made - not even attempted (i.e., wrong password). That is why I am suspecting a computer glitch! Thanks,
Thanks for the feedback. However, this was not the case. I never do that. And I mean Never! I am fully aware of phishing scams like that and use custom SPAM filters (very effective) on blocking these type emails.
