"Coupon Drop Down" link on active words
Self, sadly | 03/30/2013 | Onona

Hi all,

Has anyone seen this thing called "coupon drop down" ? It is a redirect false flag to advertisements or surveys.

You click on a "next" link, or the last page link, which are highlighted as active links, but the redirect takes you to someplace other than what is indicated.

I am NOT a fan.....Any ideas on how to get rid of it ?

Thanks,

Onona

There should be a little gear thingy on your toolbar.

On most browsers, it lets you choose, add or eliminate toobar features.

Just eliminate the icon with the coupon and scissors.

You installed a toolbar probably on accident.

You’ve got adware!

Run your favorite scanner/removal tool ASAP.

I had the same thing a few weeks back but don't recall the name of the adware.

Malware bytes killed it.

Had another one that wouldn't go away and finally had to use hijack this to go into the registry and kill it.
